Russ said to me a year ago that Chris plays on 1 track, James Gadson plays on 2 and Quest plays the rest. That has changed most likely due to songs not making the record and etc. However, John Blackwell plays on one of the newer songs! Chris still plays on that one track, which is a song we haven't heard yet and it's called Prayer! Quest drums on Another Life, Back To The Future, Really Love and most of the album. James Gadson plays on Sugah Daddy and he's basically doing Hambones on his body.

ghettowinnebago I too have tried to decipher his lyrics from 1000 Deaths. That sounds pretty much like what he's singing. I also got "...Praise the lord, I don't want ever be addicted to drugs, you know a coward dies 1000 times, but a soldier..." somethin' somethin' else. Gonna be a great album.

If you guys listen to some of ?Loves interview he always mentions that d angelo is the second coming in the r&b/soul category nothing more nothing less to be fans of theirs you have to know your music do some research and see what they mean, I'm ready this album is 14 years in the making hopefully another classic

God is a God of black, white, and everything in between. If you want to get real specific, God's chosen people is Israel. The entire point of the Gospel is that He loves everybody on Earth as much as His chosen Israelites, as He created everyone of us. There's nothing special about white or black over the other. Everybody is special in their own regards. Labeling Jesus as a specific race is irrelevant and undermines the purpose of the Gospel.
Elroi Carpenter As Hunter said, there has been an all out war to paint Jesus and many of the people in the bible as white when in fact the scriptures tell you he was black skinned and so were his people. Its time to get the facts straight. Then we can move on from there.

I previewed the album and I'm disappointed. I only like 4 out of 12 songs on the album. That's not good at all. I just expected so much more. He kind of mumbles and whines throughout the album. I'd still check it out, but chile.....
