Delighted to see this archive film go LIVE on RUclips. Thanks to Syd and Eddie's family for permission to put this out. A real chance for people to see the boys after 25years off stage. Still funny!

When younger, I remember I used to watch every show these two great comedians put on. Watched every episode. I'm grateful I belong to that era when entertainment meant entertainment. Thank you both for sharing your wonderful world of comedy with us and also, thank you Mathew for this opportunity. It is much appreciated.

What a delight this was to watch. Two pioneers of comedy, who served their time and did what they were meant to do. Make us laugh.

I've just finished reading Eddie's autobiography and it was great hearing them talk about and expand on the stories of the early days. Thanks for setting this up and for adding it to YT! 👍

Love this. Saw L&L in Liverpool many years ago, they were in a boss panto. The lads were fabulous, always loved them. Eddie doing 'Famous people's cars starting in the morning' was genius 😆

Absolutely great to watch. I realise now I didn’t fully appreciate the two of them. The Loral and Hardy piece was superb.

What a fantastic interview. So pleased they did this before he passed on. I used to love watching the Little And Large show in the 80s. I remember Eddie doing a brilliant impression of the character Ali Frazer from the second series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet and wish I can find them clips again.

Brilliant. I have happy memories of watching Little and Large on television in the late 1970s, through the 1980s and into the 1990s. Thank you to all those who made this possible. My thoughts go to Eddie's family and friends, including, of course, Syd.

quite a poignant occasion too-think both of them knew Eddie wasn't going to live much longer and this would be one of the last times they could get together and reminisce. Great thing was, although Eddie might not have been in the best of health, his comic timing was, as always, impeccable. He told all the stories brilliantly-the highlight being the one about the Royal Variety Show and meeting the queen. He told it perfectly and delivered the punchline absolutely spot on. I know they got a bit of stick for being too old fashioned and corny, but they were total professionals who could never have reached the heights they did without immense talent and hard work.

Would have loved to have asked them if they were fans of, or influenced by Martin and Lewis. They were obviously the right age to have watched them as teenagers and the idea of the singer being interrupted by the crazy antics of his partner were very much a staple of Dean and Jerry's act.

Felt very happy watching this, even though they hadn't been mainstream for quite a while. Eddie could clearly still throw the lines out with ease.

Re the health and safety issues and their producer Michael Hurrl. He infamously produced The Late Late Breakfast Show. And we all know what happened there.

Maybe not traditionally slapstick... but they did take some inspirations from some slapstick greats :) We celebrate silent, visual, and classic comedy.
