- The Svengoolie family is growing, and the Dollar Bin Bandits got a chance to talk to the new additions! Bill Leff (Nostalgiaferatoo) and Sarah Palmer (Gwengoolie) are quickly becoming fan favorites along with IMP. Besides the show, Bill wrote a story about his character in last year’s Svengoolie comic from Frank Miller Presents. What’s it like to work with a legend, and how did they get the gig? I LOVE Sahara Palmer and "Gwengoolie", would love to see more of her.
Bill and Sarah, your Sven Squad characters are great! I love the ad-libbed banter between Nostalgiaferatoo and Sven, it reminds me of Bob Bell and Roy Brown (Bozo & Cookie) going a little off script during a show. More of that please. And Gwengoolie is doing great, too. One of my favorite shticks with her is when she was an onsite reporter during “Kingdom of the Spiders”. She should be an onsite reporter more often as if she is in the town that the craziness is happening and each time Sven checks back to her the shtick can elevate. Good fertile ground there. Great interview and keep up the great work!
Bill Leff is epic as The Cartoon Curator and as Nostalgiaferatoo. 😊

I ♥️ the addition of Gwengoolie & Nostalgiaferatoo! I'd like to see Gwen a bit more often, and maybe that's evolving? Plus, she is gorgeous! Nostalgiaferatoo is my absolute favorite, though! I laugh out loud every time he's on screen, or I see a clip online! 😂 Great job, All!!
I really like the Sven Squad and I think they all add something extra good to the show etc. Definately should keep them. Nostalgiaferratoo cracks me up the most though.
Thanks for the interview. I’m a fan of the Sven Squad. I know what Sarah means about some people complaining about the Squad. But I don’t think they reflect most fans. I enjoy the expansion of the show and I think the Squad is getting more comfortable with each other and Sven. Speaking of comics, I hope to see the Squad in print with the next Svengoolie comic! And I look forward to an interview with Scott in the future!

Sarah's and Bill's love for the classic movies really comes through in their characters. The biggest reason I've loved Sven for so long is because he really loves the old Universal horror monsters. Tbh, I was really worried when they started the "search" for spawn. But I'm really excited about seeing Gwengoolie and Nostalgiaferatoo ushering in the next generation. And also tbh, and no disrespect to Cassandra Peterson, but I think Gwengoolie is a much better horror host than Elvira. She just seems more dialed in to the genre. And I love Nostalgiaferatoo, but I hope Bill keeps doing Tune In.

In the first Sven- Nostlagiaferatoo schtick Sven asks Nostalgiaferatoo how he got into real estate - "Svengoolie! Everyone must have a 'side hustle' in this economy!" Man that cracked me up.
I love Nostaliaferatoo - that surprised stunned expression makes me laugh every time.

I've actually been subscribed to Sarah's RUclips channel for a few years, so it was a pleasant surprise when I discovered she was one of the people picked for the Sven Squad. And there's something really hilarious about the way Bill plays Nostaligiaferatoo. I'm sorry I'm not usually up early enough to catch Toon in With Me.
im a VERY recent MeTV fan, and im loving svengoolie, and the bits of toon in with me ive seen are also really good, i hope they can expand even more to have more original programing
I'm totally the opposite from the people who don't like the change. I love Bill & Sarah's characters on Svengoolie and am thrilled to find out that Sarah is also Pinup Palmer. I've been watching her videos on RUclips. She cracks me up. I love the fact that as pretty as she is, she has such a great sense of humor and can poke fun at herself! Bill's Nostalgiaferatoo doesn't even have to say anything to make me laugh. His make-up along with the faces he makes is enough to do the trick. LOL

I had no idea Bill was Nostagiaferatoo. I love him (Nostalgiaferatoo) on Svengoolie, and on a recent episode he said something not in his usual character's voice and I said "what a minute, he sounded like Bill on Toon in with Me." 😄😄
All this time, I thought Kevin Fleming (Toony) was playing Nostalgiaferatoo under all that makeup. It makes more sense that it's Bill but until today you couldn't have convinced me that it wasn't Kevin.

I really enjoy the three additions to Sven's show, but especially Bill's, "Nostalgiaferatoo." Bill, where did you get your inspiration from for your character? It reminds me of the wrestling interviews from the early 70's. The Crusher. Mad Dog Vachon. Baron Von Raschke, etc.
I run the biggest Facebook Svengoolie page and Sarah is 100% right... many Sven fans HATE change. Boy, oh, BOY do some people hate Imp and Gwen. But we also have a lot of fans who love either or both. So, there is in no way a consensus against Gwen and Bill. THe Svengooliegans Facebook Group has a LOT of fans of Gwen, IMP and Nostalgiaferatoo.
