The truck gate grips are a great idea. Looks well thought out. Wish there were drawers though.

    ANY drawers in this version?

I like the fact the boxes are designed to be horizontal and aren't as deep as the competitors. Never found deep boxes all that useful since things just end up getting buried and can never find anything. Now all we need is some drawers. When I'm grabbing a couple screwdrivers/pliers, seems like a pain to have to individually Velcro each one back to the molle panel

I agree with you. This seems practical and it makes a lot of sense. I would like to see a rolling chest drawer, same dimensions that rolls out both sides.

Like the low profile for truck bed covers since i use one regularly. Makita is really far behind the competition on their version of a modular storage system it's a highly competitive space now. Appears they've missed the mark with the drawer component that i believe most people desire. Pricing for these systems is out of control so hopefully they don't price too high for most contractors/consumers.

Not even sure of the US release date. Was supposed to be end of this month, and ACME Tools in the US had expected shipping dates for October 28th/31st, but I just checked this morning and they’ve already changed it to December 1st

I'm already invested in Milwaukee but it looks comparable, I'd consider these if I was just starting out but I've gotta say I'm very happy with my Milwaukee packouts

Really good for your back, bending all the way to the ground and picking up your entire tool kit up in one go 😂😂😂 nice one @makita

Yeah, I don't see many guys squatting a few hundred pounds of tools daily. Heck, my stack is typically over 6ft tall and it weighs as much or more than I do.

The human provides the power so the wheels don’t need tread to get grip and drive. Just needs a little tread to keep from sliding around.

No, it is not the most advanced system on the market. It isn't any more advanced than anything else out there.
There's no way you will be loading all of those boxes with tools and supplies and squatting it into the back, even if you are only lifting half of the load. Is that a nice design feature? Absolutely, but I can guarantee that 99.99% of the users will be removing the top two layers of boxes and then lifting the bottom box into the bed.
The other set back is trying to place this in the back of an extended cab truck. It is not as versatile as the Packout, Stackpack or other brands that fit in all sorts of configurations.
There's also no way you are going to lift the lid on the lower box while the boxes on top have tools and supplies in them.
Being able to open the boxes from both sides seems more like a gimmick instead of a useful feature.
The one major plus you do have is it is assembled in the US, but with global materials.
