Yuriko Takagi is a photographer who worked with Issey Miyake. Three years ago, 65-year-old Takagi met a piece of forest land in Karuizawa which covers an area of 1440 square meters. Then she passed her driver’s test, decorated the house and moved into the forest. “As a woman, you got to be independent, living your own life is a lifelong career”.

Have no fears of growing old.
Enjoy life while you have it.
One day you will die so why worry
      about it. You cannot control
getting old and dying it just
      happens.

Start now. A life like that takes decades to achieve. If you want to know how try Jordon B. Peterson's Future Authoring program. It's online and it's inexpensive and will show you the way. Oh, and don't be afraid of growing old because the only disadvantage of being old is being embarrassed by what you did when you were young lol.

@@abuabdullaah9476 No it doesn't and she tells us not to depend on others and to direct your own life. There is not mention of any kind of divine being.I think you are reading far too much into the photographs she has taken of muslims. The peaceful life she is living doesn't include the subjugation of any living being including the trees on her land. Something that Islam has yet to learn.

“No matter who i live with , we should be independent individual, its important to not depend on anyone”
Such great words coz we humans start depending on others sometimes financially but mostly emotionally , we expect the other person to make us happy , make us feel special and whatnot but when that person fails to do so , our happiness breaks and turns into anger and unhappiness and start blaming that person for our unhappiness but we need to realise that only we are responsible for ourselves.
    Hope my words help someone

Agree. Women especially are conditioned to believe that their happiness depends on (usually) a man. But this is a recipe for total disaster in life and relationships. As she said even if we are in a relationship and living together we have to keep our selves sovereign. As soon as we start censoring ourselves or delaying our own plans and ambitions because we think that will keep the peace and make the other person happy we are in the process of losing ourself. I think that women do that for years and years and if the relationship breaks down they think its because they have lost their looks. In fact they lost themself long ago and are living like a ghost. That is not the basis for a good life let alone a good relationship.
