As a solo cue, no comms player, it’s pretty easy to work with your team. You either become the play maker and your team will be behind you, or you listen to the plays your team are making and perform your role (smokes, entry etc)to the best of your ability. The problem is when your team is making a bad play and you have no choice but to go along with it; plus people take you less seriously when you don’t communicate with your voice
i don’t trust men enough to comm with my voice, they either start simping or throwing sexist slurs at me and flaming me when i’m tryna give info or declare a new strat. they do be saying something like “stfu woman go kitchen” there are exceptions tho and recently had a very nice match where everyone communicated very well, great info, polite people. i wish more matches were like this
As an Iron 3 player, it's always 33/33/33 in iron. A third of us CAN shoot and play the game, but get screwed over by hackers/smurfs. The other third is just really really bad and they get screwed over naturally. Then the final third is a comabation of both. Point is we're all suffering down here :')
I think all you need is game sense and movement to at least reach bronze 1. There are more complicated stuff too for anything higher so start somewhere other than just aiming!

I've seen a lot of iron/bronze players claiming they should be gold or plat, but when you see their gameplay its always the same, bad util usage like not using util when they should be, or using util when they should be shooting, spraying and praying, rushing their shots, having zero knowledge about economy, not working around enemy ultimates, not playing good angles, not looking at their minimap at all. They always say the same thing, "my aim isn't good , but my gamesense is really good, and I play with my friend in gold/plat lobby and I perform good" , its such a big cope. And when you see their gameplay, their "gamesense" is just so dogshit, they have no idea what they're doing and why theyr're doing it, always autopiloting. pick any round and ask them which part of the map each enemy player would be playing and they're super clueless. So stop coping, if you can shoot and can play the game you shouldn't be in iron

It's not hackers bro. When you meet a really high ranked player, you're going to think he's hacking. For eg, you're running at him and when he kills you because obviously he heard you coming a mile away, you'd say he's hacking. When you have 0 game sense, you're constantly getting outplayed and if you get outplayed every round you're going to think somebody is hacking but trust me, that's not the case. Sound is a huge factor in valorant and most players in low elo don't understand its significance.

As an iron player who climbed to gold i dont think he is currently gold but i think he can definitely climb up the ranks fast if he works on a few things like crosshair placement, game sense, he should also try finding a good duo to play with because u cant trust iron teamates

Behavior: 65% Iron / 30% Bronze / 5% Silver He can get out of Iron by using a cable instead of wifi and a better mouse. His mouse movements were very choppy. (Sensitivity, shape, or tracking issue, but clearly something is off.) For him to reach Silver and above, he needs a lot of behavioral changes and comms.
The reason why people say irons are cracked is because they have nothing to lose at the bottom so they go out of there way to do stuff just to get a kill and when they pull it off it looks amazing

I used to be hard stuck iron once upon a time, but I have only been playing for half a year. I'm now silver 2, but this is just so bad looking at now compared to accurate this was to my gameplay back in lower elo.
The thing with iron players is, some of their hidden mmr easily places then in bronze/silver lobbies. Usually Iron 3s can be pretty good already, you can have decent aim and hit one taps in Iron 3 and still be stuck there. The problem then is, that your gamesense and crosshair placement are just atrocious because otherwise you wouldn't be in iron anymore.
It's shocking to me how anyone could be stuck in iron,Like don't get me wrong I am hot garbage at this game 😅 but I hit bronze within the first week or 2 of unlocking ranked. And have had no prior experience of playing fps games except valorant. (Not counting mobile games)

But still honestly no need to be boosted, i always hear someone calling other ones are boosted, but usually it is just capping. I am silver 2 in CS:GO for example and I was called boosted so many times that I can't count, but what you need to remember, when you are on the lowest possible ranks, it is just fine to be bad.
yeah im iron 3 and its very inconsistent. its mainly because i play sometimes with my diamond 3 friends so I try to have good gamesense, but the reason most irons dont have gamesense is because you dont need it. they do the most unexpected things and random bull crap and get lucky because you try to understand where they are, but they are somehow camping your spawn when spike is down.

Im going to share my experience. 1. I was like a week in iron and got out pretty fast because I mvp 30 kills a lot, so I don't think "being stuck on iron" is a thing. You either don't play much, or you're overestimating yourself. 2. Yes, sometimes you can get one tapped by irons, but it's mostly because they use right-click all the time and/or are crouching. That wouldn't fly on higher elo.
I'm currently bronze and confidently say I don't deserve to rank up lol. I started playing a week or two ago and I'm new to playing any shooters on pc so my aim is generally worse on mouse than controller. I think I need to hit the aimlabs for a while

that's not what he's talking about at all. he's saying when someone asks for skin (you request the skinned weapon of their choice, they buy you, and you drop) after which you buy for yourself. it doesn't really make a difference other than taking an extra second and potentially lowering your econ rating like he mentioned in the video.
his aim is severely lacking (particularly in regards to aim speed), if he improves that he could climb to silver just with pure aim. Also his positioning/coordination with teammates definitely needs improvement (especially as he is playing reyna).
i have a bizarre situation. when i solo-queue, i usually do well regardless of the rank on the enemy team (highest i've seen solo-queueing is gold in ranked, radiant in TDM, but TDM's matchmaking is a landslide). when i team queue, i sandbag hard usually and the lobbies average about the same. my teammates are higher ranks than me and have a more consistent combat flow than me, so they certainly aren't holding me back. the lobbies i get into don't really change in rank much if at all. i think i just throw when i have teammates. maybe it's a "i can rely on them" kind of thought process and i just get lazy.
as a gold player, I know for a fact that if I played with this dude in the same team, my entire setup would be broken from rage. That being said, he definitely needs to learn more.
to put it in perspective (as far as your comment as silver to plat isn't a big leap) - I am a Gold player. I get put in plat lobbies, and I'll be anywhere between like 8th and 5th overall. It eventually puts me in silver lobbies (just skips gold) and the last game I played in silver I dropped 30 with 2 jett knife aces. farther in - no, not every gold smokes like that. most of the time it's flush with the entry, sometimes (like the door in market on ascent) it'll go all the way out to the platform depending on what the plan is, but yes, few duelists entry.
This kid seems really dedicated, which is great, but he's dedicated to the wrong thing. It seems like he just grinds the game without putting the proper time in to see what he's doing wrong and work to fix it. I did not start out with natural skill, when I first played Valorant I placed Iron 1 but by the time i hit level 100 I was Platinum. Its about working to be better not brute forcing it.

For the "skin dropping" thing, as long as they're paying for it, then yeah. It's not a big problem for me to drop them skins. The only time I get annoyed is when they ask to "see my skin first". Like, what? You're the one asking to borrow skins, why are you acting so picky? Meanwhile, on the map picking, I see chat voting for Ascent meaning a lot of people like Ascent but why are people in my lobbies dodging on Ascent?

I started in Iron, and was legit hard stuck. Friend played my account who was immortal, and it took even him a couple games to boost it. Once out of iron, he commented saying that my account was a smurf magnet. I made a new account and played and immediately got placed on gold. Weirdest shit ever.
his aim and lack of util usage and awareness is what is holding him back honestly. also in typical iron fashion, stays in the open way too much giving the enemies an easy opportunity. he clearly is working on his movement which is great but at this rate he should probably focus more on crosshair placement and learning to get behind cover more frequently

you dont need ethernet, and you can get by with simply a mouse with an optical sensor to reach diamond
Definitely not a hardware issue. His movement, aim and utility usage all need work. U can easily get to plat on low fps and wi-fi.
I climbed to p2 on 70-100 ping. I was s3 last act. He has skill issue not hardware

also, the only thing that's really going for the iron is the flicks to enemies, because again, if they move, the iron isn't adjusting the crosshair

This isn't true. Most irons will play with bronze 3's at the max, never silvers. That would be like a plat in an ascendant lobby.

that's not what he's talking about at all. he's saying when someone asks for skin (you request the skinned weapon of their choice, they buy you, and you drop) after which you buy for yourself. it doesn't really make a difference other than taking an extra second and potentially lowering your econ rating like he mentioned in the video.
This guy DEFINITELY deserves iron
his aim is severely lacking (particularly in regards to aim speed), if he improves that he could climb to silver just with pure aim. Also his positioning/coordination with teammates definitely needs improvement (especially as he is playing reyna).

i have a bizarre situation. when i solo-queue, i usually do well regardless of the rank on the enemy team (highest i've seen solo-queueing is gold in ranked, radiant in TDM, but TDM's matchmaking is a landslide). when i team queue, i sandbag hard usually and the lobbies average about the same. my teammates are higher ranks than me and have a more consistent combat flow than me, so they certainly aren't holding me back. the lobbies i get into don't really change in rank much if at all. i think i just throw when i have teammates. maybe it's a "i can rely on them" kind of thought process and i just get lazy.

to put it in perspective (as far as your comment as silver to plat isn't a big leap) - I am a Gold player. I get put in plat lobbies, and I'll be anywhere between like 8th and 5th overall. It eventually puts me in silver lobbies (just skips gold) and the last game I played in silver I dropped 30 with 2 jett knife aces.
farther in - no, not every gold smokes like that. most of the time it's flush with the entry, sometimes (like the door in market on ascent) it'll go all the way out to the platform depending on what the plan is, but yes, few duelists entry.

It seems like he just grinds the game without putting the proper time in to see what he's doing wrong and work to fix it. I did not start out with natural skill, when I first played Valorant I placed Iron 1 but by the time i hit level 100 I was Platinum. Its about working to be better not brute forcing it.

For the "skin dropping" thing, as long as they're paying for it, then yeah. It's not a big problem for me to drop them skins. The only time I get annoyed is when they ask to "see my skin first". Like, what? You're the one asking to borrow skins, why are you acting so picky?

I started in Iron, and was legit hard stuck. Friend played my account who was immortal, and it took even him a couple games to boost it. Once out of iron, he commented saying that my account was a smurf magnet. I made a new account and played and immediately got placed on gold. Weirdest shit ever.
his aim and lack of util usage and awareness is what is holding him back honestly. also in typical iron fashion, stays in the open way too much giving the enemies an easy opportunity. he clearly is working on his movement which is great but at this rate he should probably focus more on crosshair placement and learning to get behind cover more frequently
