15:02 I agree with everything you said right up until that. Although it can be dangerous if the person who uses it doesn't know how their stove works or more importantly are not use to gas. Which can be dangerous anyway with a neighbor blowing their house up causing surrounding area's hooked to gas to also potentially blow up, which i have witnessed once. But in the U.S. company's purposely place the electronics on the top, where all the hear comes out so that the board gets warped, Forcing you to know what your doing to fix it, or for most people buy another one from them. Giving the company a infinite revenue stream rather than for safety purposes. In fact i myself had a similar issue where i have to use my stove the old way, until i get the time to check the voltage on every capacitor & piece on the board to find out what is wrong. Because the error code for the stove thermistor went off, i replaced it & it still goes off, but because of it, if it wasn't gas it would be useless. But at least i can still light the stove & not starve to death because of a corporations greed that they attempt to pass off as safety. Other than that, i enjoy these videos there interesting, & in all my 34 years i have never seen a grill in a stove so thats cool. They don't even sell them where i live in the NY. I know this is old but its a interesting thing to watch especially since your pretty thorough even on the most common mistakes that certain people tend to make out of habit or even laziness at times.
I’ve been on the gas 5 yrs now, always checked flame picture and signs of spillage. Safety cutoff device , ( only on the hob mind) having a Chain etc. Watching Your video has definitely made me be a bit more thorough in my checks. In reference to the seals on the grill and oven, plus the glass. Tbh never checked them. Cheers for the few tips.
Brilliant video 👍🏻. I never thought that the size of the pans mattered when deciding which ring to use! I think the foil is common especially in asian families.. Also, you explained the importance of the glass on the door inside that top oven/grill. I would easily have missed that by not noticing it so thank you very much. I will surely pay attention on that. I understand the top oven/grill had a fan. *What does this fan do?* I just know it has a fan and that it’s ‘fan assisted’ because of the noise etc..(Sorry to sound stupid 😬) Asian Jon. Training.
Hi Derek - this is something always confusing me So the cooker with safety device if fail that would be dangerous or at risk But a different cooker without safety device is safe ????????????????????? Is this what u call it nonsense I personally believe the cooker without safety device ( thermocouple) is dangerous and must be capped off especially with a prepay gas meter Please advice Many thanks J
So if you gas rate the grill, would you gas rate with the grill and oven door open, As in the ACS book it only refers to the oven door being open. Am so confused
Just wondering the top oven door must be open during grill operation but the door can be closed whilst using the top oven. What engineering / mechanical protocols change within the oven during these two different operations?. Great content Derek cheers.

The fan moves the heat evenly around the food to make it cook quickly

You would gas rate with the door open if the grill had a door

Great content Derek cheers.
In this cooker the door hinge is like what’s in a glass lid. When you close the door it shuts the gas to the grill but allows gas to the oven
@@tomkatgastraining Got it cheers Derek.
