It really is haha i was a sonics fan watching this game and i never forget the moment i seen this dunk, legendary and in the biggest moment too. Point guard demolition of the dream haha
GLPshill Man, I saw him dunk on Hot Rod Williams, 7'4 Mark Eaton & he went up over Shaq, but Shaq slapped his arm & made him miss the dunk... barely. KJ was hanging on the rim staring Shaq down & Shaq was lookin all surprised because he didn't know KJ had hops like that lol. He actually used to dunk on fast breaks kind of regularly when he was younger. Even 2 handed dunks sometimes.
Kevin ought to be in the Hall of Fame by now. How many better point guards were there in the 90's? Stockton and Payton, that's about it. Offensively and FG% wise, KJ was one of the best.
jonmolina948 stockton and payton were not better, they were not even close to the level of KJ. He destroyed everybody he played against. His career didn't last as long as the other 2. He won every head to head match up against all the great point guards of his era.
chefbaf97 If I had to rate the top 5 in the 90's I myself would go with Stockton, Payton, KJ, Tim Hardaway, and maybe Jason Kidd because I can't think of anyone else. KJ and Hardaway were the best offensively but Stockton and Payton were just all around better especially on defense and not turning the ball over. Maybe you're right, If KJ would played more seasons and have not missed so many games he would be considered the best.
I completely agree with you he should be in the hall of fame by now he's one of my favorite point guards ever. He's skinny and small like Tiny Archibald and Allen Iverson but he keeps coming at you and that's why he's one of the best pg's of all time
Brandon Jacobs Yeah. the only argument you can make against him is he was injured quite often. I think one on one he would've beaten Stockton and Payton, I don't know about Tim Hardaway Sr. because he was a tenacious Chicago guy like Isiah and D Rose not to mention he was impossible to defend.
He was 6'10. Look up factual measurables please people. He is listed at 7 feet, but that is no where near the truth. Look at him next to Shaq. You got your answer there. This makes his legacy all the more impressive.
@insultmeplease when you see the picture of him and Ewing standing shoulder to shoulder, head to head, he clearly has 2 inches on him. Anyway, the point is he's not 7'.

Because he was too injury prone. Plus outside of basketball he was accused of sexual relations with a minor. The NBA would rather forget about him because of that.

I am born and raised in NY and here we went crazy over John Stark’s dunk on MJ. However, I remember watching this game and when I saw KJ do this I knew I witnessed one of the greatest moments in sports….
I know it’s weird but I’ve always been fascinated by Steve Jones (the tv analyst) who just stops talking even before anything special was going to happen. It was if he could sense this was going to be cool. RIP snapper
