      GLPshill Man, I saw him dunk on Hot Rod Williams, 7'4 Mark Eaton & he went up over Shaq, but Shaq slapped his arm & made him miss the dunk... barely. KJ was hanging on the rim staring Shaq down & Shaq was lookin all surprised because he didn't know KJ had hops like that lol. He actually used to dunk on fast breaks kind of regularly when he was younger. Even 2 handed dunks sometimes.

    Kevin ought to be in the Hall of Fame by now. How many better point guards were there in the 90's? Stockton and Payton, that's about it. Offensively and FG% wise, KJ was one of the best.

    • @chefbaf97
      @chefbaf97 9 лет назад +18

      jonmolina948 stockton and payton were not better, they were not even close to the level of KJ. He destroyed everybody he played against. His career didn't last as long as the other 2. He won every head to head match up against all the great point guards of his era.

    • @jonmolina948
      @jonmolina948 9 лет назад +7

      chefbaf97 If I had to rate the top 5 in the 90's I myself would go with Stockton, Payton, KJ, Tim Hardaway, and maybe Jason Kidd because I can't think of anyone else. KJ and Hardaway were the best offensively but Stockton and Payton were just all around better especially on defense and not turning the ball over. Maybe you're right, If KJ would played more seasons and have not missed so many games he would be considered the best.

    • @brandonjacobs5452
      @brandonjacobs5452 8 лет назад +5

      I completely agree with you he should be in the hall of fame by now he's one of my favorite point guards ever. He's skinny and small like Tiny Archibald and Allen Iverson but he keeps coming at you and that's why he's one of the best pg's of all time

    • @jonmolina948
      @jonmolina948 8 лет назад +3

      Brandon Jacobs Yeah. the only argument you can make against him is he was injured quite often. I think one on one he would've beaten Stockton and Payton, I don't know about Tim Hardaway Sr. because he was a tenacious Chicago guy like Isiah and D Rose not to mention he was impossible to defend.

    I don't even have a favorite team in the NBA I followed the suns a few years after Barkley left but it wasn't the same. I just missed watching Thunder Dan,KJ, and Barkley

    @adamaboss ... yup, glad that someone cited the context; it renders the dunk all the more remarkable.

    Those were the Golden years of NBA basketball. Spectular plays and few questioned the integrity of the sport.

    Killer dunk. One of those dunks you remember where you were and who you were watching it with when it happened. I had about five guys at my house watching it and when KJ dunked over The Dream we all lost our shit. The year before we had The Dunk. John Starks dunking over three Bulls. That one was a monster, too, but KJs dunk was the shit.

    Imagine seeing this live as a kid. Me and my brother freaked out!! KJ elevated slowly on him. Watch it again you'll see. The shit was in slow motion when it happened.
