Oof. That ring 5 was a rough one. Gave that feeling like when you're trying to thread a needle but the thread just won't quite fit in the eye, so you keep poking at it and you get that sensation in your gut.
One thing I've learned about monster train is that the order in how you play you cards will change what cards you draw after the reshuffle, it's the same for slay the spire
Pretty sure the pre-relentless on Talos was to put the Wicklash up top, and stack Draf up there as much as possible. Not 100% that this would work, but I was thinking Wicklash should go there since you would want those Draf alive if Talos goes back up.
Possibly. I think it's a much easier pre-relentless if you have the Multistrike in a draff like the #1 player had. Really hard to ever predict that to be the correct direction, though; it's such a hail mary.
I think in ring 5, since the goal was to get baron at a high burnout, it would have helped to let him die early instead of keeping him alive with burnout on top floor.
That results in me taking a bunch of pyre damage on the turn he burns out, however, which hurts my score more than I gain from playing bottom floor in the first place.
Man, you completely lost the plot on this one. Should have rethought posting an hour long replay of a single floor. Just cut out all the replays except the first and last on that floor.
respect for pushing through that ring 5, damn

Oh my God that is the exact right description for it.

It was fun, even though i should be sleeping... but good grief that ring 5 was insane...

Managed to make quite the spacious train there
Why are there ring 3 enemies appearing on ring 1 on a covenant 1 run?
Let me grab my popcorn
