Pedestalizing women is a big sign of weakness as a male. I've been there, all my friends have been there....without really realizing it. We naturally have this idea that making women a top priority (if you're in a relationship/marriage) is the right thing to do so they stay interested. Always talking to her via text, giving up things that you like to do just to make more time for them (your hobbies)....basically making them the center of your life. Don't lose frame guys, if a women truly likes you they'll conform to your life....you just have to find the right balance.

I have had this problem my whole life, i became aware of it and started to break away from it about a year ago, accepting responsibility for putting her on a pedestal was a watermelon sized bitter pill to swallow haha, but looking back it boosted my self confidence and brought me more peace then blaming her/ women ever did. 5:47 this really resonated with me. I started watching redpill content in March during lockdown and I was never really able to connect with the messages being conveyed, primarily because they point fingers at women and blame them for society’s problems, all while spewing crap like “women ain’t shit... she deserves the hit and quit.” The redpill creators preach self improvement, but their reason behind it is to take advantage of female hypergamy. In my opinion, It’s better to find your purpose for yourself; like you said David, become the tree and let a woman be the soil that enriches that tree and supplements it with the nutrients it needs to succeed. I like this channel because you share a message of self improvement in an all-inclusive and positive way. Keep it up man!

It’s actually painful man, like I understand I am pedastalizing this girl who rejected me many months ago. I have worked out for 5 months, reduced close to 14KG of weight, worked on my music and got a few prizes and awards but still I just feel empty. I know pedastalising is bad but how do I avoid it 😔 it’s like I lose all control man sometimes
I think one of the reasons why is because your not happy by yourself like 100 % let me tell you this you think that if you finally get a woman in your life you would be happy,satisfied etc..
But what you don't know is that having a girlfriend is just a bonus in your life. Before she comes into your life YOU SHOULD ALREADY BE 100 PERCENT HAPPY because you have a purpose, you have a goal, you wake up in the morning thinking "ok I know what I'm going to do today and no one can stop me" you are already satisfied without needing anyone. YOU ARE ALREADY COMPLETE

But in a general way, the answer is no. They are attracted to you because of you not because you play games. Being a gamer is a part of you, it is not a trait that stands out to which a girl would be attracted to. I mean think about it. There's nothing really attractive about gaming. Ofcourse, there are going to be exceptions, but it is a no generally.

I have some success with letting go of it when i'm on no fap, meditation and fitness streaks. I feel then like more present in the moment and when i have a thought of pedestalizing a woman i'm way more likely to caugh myself in the moment and can stop it.
