Hello, new subscriber here. Could you do a thorough video in the process of you getting your certification, including school/cost, job search ( did you school offer placement or did you apply on your own), interviews, timeframe for the entire process… Thank you for giving us a glimpse and congratulations on your success!
Thank you for watching JayJay999_92 ! I appreciate your request. The next video will be available in a couple of days, focusing on how to become an administrative assistant. Following that, we will cover how to search for these jobs, as well as the interview and resume process.
@@ThriftyPiado you feel like this was an easy job to find? In all truth?
Hi Lillyjpotter,Hello, in all honesty, this job is relatively easy to find as it is a low-entry administrative assistant position. The primary challenge lies in the medical terminology; however, this role is highly trainable. As you become more familiar with the position, the tasks will become easier. Ideally, this job could serve as a stepping stone to other roles within the medical field. I have experienced being let go twice over a span of 14 years in administrative roles, but those setbacks turned out to be beneficial. They provided me with opportunities to grow and learn from my mistakes.
Congrats on your new job🤗🌷
Thank you love 😍
I’m about to start school for this certification I’m really nervous going back to school as a 25 year old. I’m scared to fail
Do not be afraid; acquiring new skills will significantly enhance your value in this field. It is perfectly normal to feel nervous, but do not shy away from the possibility of failure, as it is an essential component of growth.
omg same lol
I went to school and did not get a externship and most places want hire with out experience but I been on interviews so how am I to get a job if no one will hire me because I do not have the experience
Yes, securing a job in this field can be challenging. However, you possess transferable skills that are highly valuable.
Transferable Skills to Highlight
Customer Service Skills: Your experience in customer service demonstrates your ability to interact effectively with clients and address their needs.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential in any role, allowing you to convey information clearly and collaborate with team members.
Problem-Solving Skills: Your ability to strategize and solve problems is crucial for overcoming obstacles and improving processes.
These skills can be effectively applied to your resume, showcasing your qualifications for potential employers.
Yes I have medical background and over 10 years in customer service thank u so much for your reply as well
Currently what i'm in school for now...is it hard to find a job with just the certificate in this field? I do know some people are taking you with a certificate cause they will train you sometimes on the job....Congratulations I'm so ready to get in the field
Finding a new job can be an exciting opportunity, especially in the medical field. Most careers provide foundational training that equips you with the essential skills needed to perform your job effectively. After a few months of experience, you will likely develop personal habits and strategies that enhance your performance. This field offers numerous opportunities for advancement and specialization within the medical world.
Congratulations Pia 🎉
Thank you 😊
I want to build on my billing and coding education so I’m considering RMA. My community college doesn’t offer admin assistant only :-(
Hi robinson2589,That’s a great start, RMA! Working as a billing representative can serve as a stepping stone for gaining experience that will help build your career. Having your own company is an excellent opportunity for growth, especially with so many talented coders available on this platform. It’s true that many schools do not offer this course because it is considered entry-level.
@ thanks for the reply!
How do you become a MA?
Ash-oh6nh Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program then get your CMA or AAMA certification and get a job
