    The AC smell issue has supposedly been fixed via a software update - the car now runs the fan a bit longer after shutting off to further ventilate the system and remove moisture from it.

      Yes sir! However, you still need to clean the coils after the software update. Thanks for commenting!

    I hate how people vandalized nice cars. Just because someone drives a $30,000 car doesn’t mean they’re rich or rich enough to fix the key you just rammed into the side of their car. I’m thinking about saving up for a very long time to get a Tesla and I’m working a factory job in a small town. Would I have the money to fix vandalism? No absolutely not. Some people need to respect others property

      great..much appreciated. For a normal household, do we need to install 240v power outlet? I heard that normal wall outlet won't do!!! What are the additional cost in your power bill? What are the charges at Tesla's charging station? What are the cost of installing Tesla's charging unit in your garage? Thanks

    • @EMtesla1
      @EMtesla1  4 года назад

      All of these questions can be answered in my previous videos on my channel. One question you asked about the power unit price. This item cost about 500 bucks on Tesla’s website, then to install the price all depends on how far away your breaker box is from your car/garage. For me, I got a quote for 1,500 bucks. Because I’m so close to work, I solely rely on the standard 120v outlet. I have no issues charging my model 3 this way. Hope this helps!

    Just came across this video- at 7:10, did your M3 make a full left turn by itself at an intersection?? I've had really mixed experiences with Navigate on Autopilot, so I've never really let it try to turn by itself (the last time I tried, while getting off a highway exit, it went about 30% into the turn and freaked out and I had to take over). Great videos btw- my car also has an odor (only on days when it rains, oddly), so I am going to try to clean out the coils following your guide. Cheers!

    It was a reasonable and pretty fair review; one thing you did say which was inaccurate was that Tesla's have no emissions which is something often said in Tesla reviews. In NC you have quite a bit of nuclear but if that isn't considered renewable; then you have about 85% nuclear and fossil fuels powering your car and other states are worse. In the end the current models are not that green nor that cheap to drive, particularly because they are quite heavy vehicles.

    • @EMtesla1
      @EMtesla1  3 года назад

      What happens if that consumer charges their tesla with solar at home? In fact, quite a few people I know already do this. The way I look at it is, I'm, not breathing in any toxic fumes from this car. Unfortunately, I'm still surrounded by people with smelly trucks and old cars that dont pass state emissions test.

    I wouldn't be too quick on letting them off the hook for the panel gap issues. I was in an Australian Tesla showroom in Martin Place, Sydney about two weeks ago and the white model 3 they had on display had non-matching panel gaps on the left/right bonnet sides and even whilst I was looking at them another person also looking came across and pointed them out to me. The assistant confirmed if one was purchased Tesla would rectify it on request. BUT, not what you really want on show in a store.

      Thank you for posting the video I gave you a thumbs up for content & quality! Also very good tips on the noise in the cabin & the oder from the ventilation/AC system as I’ve experienced that myself, but it seems to have gone away or I simply haven’t noticed it lately but I’m headed to the service center soon to have my tires rotated, so I’ll ask them about it at that appointment! To the gentleman who said he was unsure about whether to get the single motor or the dual motor, unless you’re a performance guy, I think the single motor is just fine, I got the dual motor because I like the idea of having all wheel drive! I have a 2016 Subaru legacy & it’s all wheel drive as are all of their cars are all wheel drive & I think they handle the best particularly on snow! I’ve never gotten stuck & I have the all season tires so I don’t change tires for winter & the performance is just superb & safety is my first priority! So thanks again for posting the video & keep up the good reporting! Oh BTW! I bought mine in November of 2018 & like you I’ve had it for about a year now and I’m simply thrilled to be driving it!
