I have noticed that almost all Srilankans used the word "pantry" to the incorrect location. Actually, in the western world (must be correct) the location of the pantry is referred to as the storage area inside the kitchen. This can be a walk-in pantry or a bigger cabinet (like an inbuilt cupboard) inside the kitchen as part joinery. In bigger houses, this refers to butler's pantry and pantry. It's a surprise that no Sri Lankan is known about this beforehand.
