Zartan having a bigger head in the Storm Shadow mask is a nice little detail. They are different characters in similar garb. A poster on IG We R Figures has pics with SS and red Ninja. They do look awesome. This is a great figure with loads of accessories. How amazing would it be to have fists or splayed out hands? Hasbro has options for re-release with shuriken holding hands, fists, splayed out hands. Different weapons like nunchucks. Hasbro I give you permission to repack this dude a few more times to get more accessories as such. You can do that with Snake Eyes too. Very nice review. Look forward to it.
I don't think it has to do with a bigger head. I think they just designed with a different hole and peg sizes, which is really a shame that they are not interchangeable. They should be like Legos -pop and lock.
They should do a deluxe stormshadow like snake. Or with a bike or something equally cool with more weapons and interchangeable hands.

Would have loved to have seen you try some MCU flesh hands in there, also the bow should be the one that came with Zartan and Arctic Stormshadow but it's an easy switch so all the stars out of five on this guy

A stellar figure. I'd take it in red as a more simplified red ninja, or members of The Hand.
The hood seems replicate a cobra's neck frill. Totally cool figure.

Yeah. Didn't care for the movie Tommy storm shadow was the only good thing. If you used a cyclops head with snake eyes and paint the hair blonde you would have a comic snake eyes

Instead of Gloves hands, needed to come with various bare hands in different martial arts styles. Like MK Shang Chi came with. Hopefully you can utilize those for Storm shadow.

Thanks for the comparison with white mmpr. It was me btw who asked for the comparison but on ig. I'm surprised mmpr white is whiter than this, might be your lighting but from 1st glance, I thought this would be whiter than mmpr, kinda like dino thunder white which I think has the best white molded plastic so far for LC.
The best of the three, then Spirit, and then officer.
It is most definitely a fantastic figure, the only slight issues I found is my bow is very loose on the peg and likes falling off. The other is the hood that I decided just remove in general. I got rid off both parts as he looks way better without either accessory. I also found my ones left arm is a bit loose as well. But in all this is an excellent bit of work 👌

The hood, I remember a hooded look with our first Joe Storm Shadow figure but never this look. Easily tossing that in a gear bag and storing away. Other than that I'm digging.

I wish it had an extra holster on the legs. It wouldn't have been show accurate, but I think it would have added a little more to the design.
No big deal. That can be adjusted swapping gear.

Thanks for the review. My only issue about this StormShadow is that you can't remove the quiver from the two sheaths on his back would give more options in displaying/fighting. FYI technically their only been three releases of SnakeEyes in the wild. The fourth one is the Fortnite SnakeEyes which is yet to be released. I'm also predicting that we would get new RedNinjas with this mold that works great as HandNinjas for are Marvel Legends.

I'm actually a big fan of the artic mission storm shadow figure and this classic version looks great. I liked the movie version for what it was but that off white is a turn off. I hope they make the white and grey pattern storm shadow next.

I like him so much I had to pay 6x retail to get one early. It looks like croc master Is going to show up in June or July with spirit and stormshadow, probably early for yo Joe June and I'll wish I had waited I'm sure. Also got spirit and two each python patrol bat and vipers, man I gotta stay off eBay and wait patiently but my favorite characters of All the Joe's are tomax and xamot so if the show up as scalper exclusives I'll probably jump on them too. The trooper and croc master I'm waiting for the release tho and I should have spirit and stormshadow early next week. Had pp bat and vipers fit for a few weeks. I wish they'd done v2 first because that's my favorite SS, and I feel like they should've made him exactly like the 84 version with sleeves and small wrist wraps. These figs would look so much better with a diaphragm cut instead of the one they use imo but I love them either way.
Very frustrating when peg holes aren't the same size, especially within the same line. The figure is awesome though. Can't wait to have him.

For some reason my zartan extra head, the snake eyes head is small and fits on my movie figure but SS head has a huge peg hole, I think they did that just so ppl couldn't make custom stormshadows before they put out this one.

I got my Stormshadow figure early this week along with Spirit. I love them both but i have to admit that i wish they make the version of Stormshadow with the arm tattoo. By the way you missed a swivel articulation on Stormshadow that is just where the top of his forearm armor starts
Maybe that's why this new throw back ss has arm swivel because of the batman gauntlets and the arms being bare
@@FemboybunnyGW Would have gladly sacrificed that for the tat and gauntlets. Plus they would have broke up the white so he doesn't look so plain. The Red Ninja is dumping on him detail wise.
Love how he just falls over. Give us a stand Hasbro! And seriously a ninja should have hand options. They’re doing them for Sarge but not SS? Just chopping hands would of been much appreciated.

Careful with the legs on some of your Joes. Robo has a method to making sure you don't stress the plastic when first trying to loosen up those legs. He uses some type of oil. Just a drop or so. The name escapes me at the moment.

First
this is not a good figure
I love it. It's very nice, but it's not a perfect Storm Shadow in my book. I'll take it of course, but it's not perfect. Here's my thoughts for what they are worth:
1) Storm Shadow doesn't need the other hood or the neck piece. They don't really work. They also make very little sense, as they're NOT part of his original look, and they're impractical. A ninja needs to be able to hear noises all around him. With one hood on, it's a challenge. With two hoods, that's like wearing ear muffs. It makes no sense. Also, the outer hood obscures his peripheral vision. Ninjas gotta see foes coming. So the other hood is crap. 'Nuff said there.
2) The gloves suck. They're just unnecessary, and they seem clumsy in terms of design. Plain hands or hands with just the back fist part covered would have been far better.
3) His Cobra emblem is too small when you compare it with the original figure. It's throwing off some of his classic look. That's the price you pay for butterfly shoulder joints I guess, but it's certainly not as bold as it could be
4) His belt could use some decent sized pouches. This gimpy lil' pouches are ridiculous. His original belt was just a sash, but if you're gonna go to the trouble of giving him a combat/military style belt, give him something to carry on it.
5) Black toes and soles on the tabi boots aren't really necessary. It's just a little distracting to the design.
6) How about some actual loose shurikens?? Is that too much to ask? Two throwing stars that he can hold would be a nice addition.
7) A compound bow? He originally carried a traditional recurve short bow. Hasbro is trying to have things both way. Part classic, part modern. Pick a lane, bros.

LOL. Just my two cents. I definitely love what Hasbro did here, but it ain't perfect. It's still very much worth the wait regardless. Nice review!
