Im gonna throw my keyboard out the window --- ya'll need to watch this mans content. This is literally some of the best literature, character, narrative analysis I have EVER seen. We dont deserve you man
Each of your videos have amazing production value and I cant wait for you to blow up; keep at it. Each time you come out with a video I walk away with a whole different perspective... even making me want to start making video essays. Please make a patron or something, I'm sure other viewers would be willing to support you even without rewards to help this channel grow.
Dude, I’m speechless. Thank you so, so much for this. Times are tough and this really does go a long way. I’d love to see you make some video essays, feel free to DM me on Instagram anytime if you want pointers! You’re the man. 🙏🏻
Wait this is SO GOOD. The Hank slides took me out. Also this is becoming one of my favorite channels for real, I just love your style. The drama music and grayscale over the comedic bits is like primo. Now I'm wondering what I can do with this information. Like what meaning does it have for me knowing it. Why do I find that information fascinating.
Good to see you back bro, giving amazing content as expected, you should do more of these we will support you no matter what, and I'll happily pay for this kind of content. Love from India❤.
This video is still stewing in my mind. Rewatched it yesterday and i've been thinking about it all day lmao. Something that stuck out was how the absurd essence of the human condition being that we're wired to search for order and meaning in an ultimately chaotic universe can be looked at as hilariously ironic or incredibly depressing. And honestly it's both. Perfect video, gotta be a top 5 video essay I've ever seen. Such a crime that this doesn't have at least like 30k views!
Such a thought-provoking video. I often find myself laughing at past events I found tragic at the time. All your vids are better than the vast majority of videos I see here! wish this had more views
Your videos are very entertaining, and I am glad that you are branching out. Keep doing what you enjoy and we are here to enjoy it with you! Your videos are always informative and entertaining at the same time and that why I like what you do.
Excellent work as usual. I wasn't expecting you to branch out but very pleasantly surprised. If you want some more material for future videos, I think Re Zero has a lot of potential topics you could look at. If you're interested in branching out into video games, Outer Wilds and Pathologic 2 are excellent choices in my opinion for making videos on.
Thanks so much dude! I’m really glad people are into it so far. I actually don’t really play video games, I just don’t have the time. However, I’ll give Re Zero a shot, and I’ll let you know.
@@Reddrik Hey, no problem. It's not easy finding time these days. I'm always on the lookout for great stories in any medium and I still think video games are heavily underserved when it comes to quality storytelling so I like to shout out the exceptions when I find them. I hope you enjoy Re Zero. After watching Attack on Titan, it was a struggle to find shows or anime that could compete with such incredible writing quality and I thought Re Zero was one of those few.
Absolutely amazing video but I would add something to comedy I think why things are funny in the first place is the sudden realization of your wrong and a new insight. Showing how integral learning is to our well being! Apart of us almost love being wrong and that’s what makes it funny! A new sudden perspective
The goal of any worthwhile work of fiction is to elicit emotion on some level. To a drama, this might be attachment, anger, sadness, fear, or any other number of things. But if the goal of a work is to illicit humor in particular, it becomes a "comedy." In that sense, comedy is conceptually just as dramatic as any drama that brings out any other emotion, but there is an important tonal distinction that defines a successful comedy that makes it somehow "feel" different. Even so, just as small changes to an overall narrative's execution can turn sadness into anger or anger into fear, it is also possible to rewrite any drama into a comedy and vise versa.
YOOO LETS GOOO! Glad to see a new video been wondering where you've been, also glad to see you diving into other topics good on you for evolving a lot of others wouldnt want to take the risk but it is appreciated, great video!

Quite an interesting video I would say. Liked, tho not as well structured in the initial parts as it's generally is It indeed is fascinating and at the same time ridiculous to think about absurdity in our existence. Just look at how vastly different streams of thoughts and beliefs For example, on one hand scientists are striving towards making huge advancements in the field of space, while there's certain group of people that still believes in Flat Earth On peeking from away, it's Ridiculously laughable but on close insight to the psychology of these people, it's tragedy drama This video got me to think about a lot of Stuff but it's Hard to express everything lol To say the least, I liked your video a lot. Keep it up brother Also, again best wishes to you for adjusting in the new region
Speaking of philosophy, there's been a question in my head for maybe the past 6 months that I would like to share it here (bc you referenced to both nihilism and taoism on the topic): I'm gonna put this as simple as I can, why do you think two ideas like absurdity and something like buddhism or taoism, with pretty much opposite ways of approaching to the concept of life (I mean opposite in the way that Camus literally says your life is less meaningful than a tree and completely disconnected from nature bc of your consciousness, and in the other hand buddhism says you're one with nature) can have such similar conclusions on just... almost everything. One of the main ones being not bothering yourself too much about finding meaning in life.
I think because the universe has shown, time and time again, to have fully operative opposites in its midst. Just like drama and comedy. “Two avenues leading to the same destination,” like I said. I’d be hard pressed to find anyone capable of basic thought who didn’t agree the universe is both hostile, impersonal, terrifying, AND beautiful, mystic, and gratifying. Schrödinger’s cat LITERALLY WAS both dead and alive until the box was opened. You know?
@@foggyforest2625 The “unity of opposites” is almost the entire basis to analytical psychology. Anima, animus. Dark, light. Good, evil. They do not exist in contrast to one another, they exist in unity with one another. They’re all a drainpipe leading to the same existential reality that you highlighted in your missive. That’s how I see it at least.
@@Reddrik That reminds me of Silco's monologue in Arcane. "Ever wondered what it’s like to drown? Story of opposites. There’s peace in water. Like it’s holding you, whispering in low tones to let it in. And every problem in the world will fade away. But then, there’s this thing… in your head, and it’s raging. Lighting every nerve with madness. To fight. To survive. And all the while this question lingers before you: `Have you had enough?` It’s funny. You could pass a lifetime without ever facing a choice like that. But it changes you forever. For that, I thank you...Old friend."

Leave a small message of words under a collection of video and audio, hoping that a generated algorithm with mysterious ways will show said collection to other people?
