I think old Rico never actually got the right way to play trombone, he misses all the right notes but oh how I love him, it's his playing that is the charm on lots of ska/reggae tunes of the day. Play your horn rico

The right way...for that time was exactly to just play.. perfection was not the going to happen...lol well that from what I remember after speaking with one of the guys...they only had but so much time to be in the studio... but you are right it was organic like a recorded jam session...
