The live version was better than the studio version in my opinion, and that is brilliant, to play live with no changes at all and no editing, just letting it flow shows pure love ❤️ utter perfection ❤
My brother loved to send me music and he would send me this, among many other songs. I always saw people commenting about losing a relative and remembering them through song, but I never though I'd be one of them... I learned my brother died this morning, 32 years old, and I came back to the playlists he made for me. This really hits home... 💔
I don’t know why I cry when I listen to Bob Marley. The lyrics and his cause, I know GOD used him and the devil cancer took him. All I know is I feel good listening to him. ❤
Bob at his most soulful, the crowd nearly drowning him out singing along, the searing guitar break by Al "Yasha" Anderson - perhaps the best live recording I've ever heard.

Idk, man. I'm a longtime metalhead, die-hard rocker... but there's something about Marley's music that just speaks to my soul. I get a little teary-eyed when I listen to this song. It's beautiful.
I thinks the fact that they all come from the same foundation. Poor people just trying to make it in the world and speak the pain and power they have. What much or what little they have of either.
Blessings for all the people of the Caribbean, also for the emigrants who left their country and family because of the oppressive government. Thanks Robert and the Wailers for this music.
Bob Marley stood behind peace and love, people don't realize he put his heart and soul into music. His passion moved people, in his music, Bob Marley was a legend!
Once Bob Marley was gunshoted in a concert by a wicked person. But he still performed his next concert with hist injured arm. Then one man asked him why did he perform with such a bad conditions. Then he sayed"Bad people are doing their wicked work even through all those restication,so why we good people stop doing our good work for only a obstacle. "
Bob Marley!
This song comes from an actual event in his life. The line “no woman no cry” comes from real life struggle and either him or someone said it front of him. And he made a legendary ageless song. As a kid this molded me to respect and cherish women. God bless my mother for being a reggae connoisseur when I was a kid. People don’t understand, kids listen to Bobs messages too

Mr. Marley was way ahead of his time. A true legend. His songs are classics which makes you feel so peaceful. This song really resonates with me… it relaxes me & it’s so meaningful 🖤💛💚❤️
I was born decades after he passed away. His music has such a vibe of love and peace, that it transcends generational relevance. His music stands the test of time, and every track of his is proof that love and music, when they come together, are meant to be intertwined. One love
So this is one of my happy remembers of my mother. Back in 1976 she was determined to find this album. We drove to baseline street in San Bernadino (still a tough area). Here was this little white woman (5 ft) not caring about color or boundaries but only wanting this album. It seems silly but this single day taught we are one and that they are no boundaries. Peace on this journey.
Bobs VOCAL talent was under rated. This is a live version of the song. Not a studio recording. That means the best version of bob was his real self. Bless up. One love my brothers and sisters . Rastafari
I'm from Africa and I moved to America and ppl keep asking me whether I lived on the wild with animals it's pretty stupid to ask that and kinda racist :\
Can you imagine witnessing this masterpiece, nearly a perfect piece of music, live in 1975. What a timeless and beautiful work of art… created in one take.
As I read the newspaper after school before lunch, I burst into tears. When my mother asked what was wrong, I sobbed, “Bob Marley is dead.” She didn't even know who Bob Marley was. But after his death he became more and more popular in the mainstream in Germany. Unvergessen.
Marley was unique: he had a universal message, a vision, a wonderful sense of melody, a good voice and back up, singular style etc I remember going to Bali and they played Bob Marley songs on the beach in the evenings for entertainment. RIP.
Only genius singers who translates the beauty of their thoughts into beautiful words pass a way without saying Goodbye to the ones who love them because they know their fans will never forget their great performance
A few days ago I was close to cry. The whole world (and mainly people) made so sad that I thought the only thing I could do is to cry... All of the sudden No woman no cry played in TV. It seemed like a message to me. Like God or some other power looked at me and tried to calm me down. Thank you, Bob.
The refren No woman no cry has different meaning, it says that without woman there are no feelings into the man and that s why he is not crying, so when there is a woman, there are feelings and love . Simply he said that the world is for two and we must love eachother 💕.
But every body is not being like you your heart pure may Allah (God) save you from the devil eye stay strong world needs keep.the good work u know that we came the to see and we will all die the same wether rich or poor black or white
This man stole a part of my soul 50 years ago . I have been trying to thank him ever since. Around 1972/3 he met me (respect I met with him ) in a Rasta meeting house in Moss Side Manchester. I was the only white guy in the place. He had come up from London after a concert to see "the boys".I asked my friend to introduce me. His minders had given me the evil eye. He asked how a white man held respect in there. I was cheechy and said "Its OK I am a half chat like you. " He smiled and handed me a spliff "Keep strong " Since then I have had other special experiences but few match the simplicity of a wise knowing smile.
You know a live recording is great when it hardly even seemed like one at first. His vocal is so captivating.....man I’d love to have been at this show.
"Der größte Feigling ist ein Mann, der die Liebe einer Frau erweckt, ohne die Absicht zu haben, sie zu lieben." - B. Marley Dieses Verhalten verdient bei mir die größte Missbilligung und Missachtung!
this song is amazing and his voice is beautiful! At age 13, all my friends like modern music, but i can truly see the beauty in this music, and queen, and The Doors.
You can literally hear the HOLY SPIRIT FLOW THOUGH OUT BOB’s soul!!! Why can’t we all get along??? Not blacks, not whites, not Native Americans, not Asians, not Latinos, not Hispanics, not Polynesians, not Pacific Islanders , not Jews, not Middle Easterners, but why can’t, all of us, humans get along???

The live version was better than the studio version in my opinion, and that is brilliant, to play live with no changes at all and no editing, just letting it flow shows pure love ❤️ utter perfection ❤

My brother loved to send me music and he would send me this, among many other songs. I always saw people commenting about losing a relative and remembering them through song, but I never though I'd be one of them... I learned my brother died this morning, 32 years old, and I came back to the playlists he made for me. This really hits home... 💔
One love.
Sorry for your loss :(
Seu irmão era foda 👏
Sorry for your loss, I´m sure it´s still very hard two years later.
When a song crosses the barriers of culture and language and is still loved, you know it's real good.
Imagine had he lived beyond his 30's
this man had a story to tell the world
perhaps in an alternate universe...yes...I believe they are possible,as rediculous as it sounds it is almost only way to explain quantum mechanics
it gives illogic to an illogical sub atomic world
so it balances out
is how u explain absurdity
I don’t know why I cry when I listen to Bob Marley. The lyrics and his cause, I know GOD used him and the devil cancer took him. All I know is I feel good listening to him. ❤
Cancer is not a demon. It’s Mother Nature.
This song makes me cry ❤
Bob at his most soulful, the crowd nearly drowning him out singing along, the searing guitar break by Al "Yasha" Anderson - perhaps the best live recording I've ever heard.
Anyone listening in 2024!

Letra:
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
'Cause, 'cause, 'cause I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
Oba observing the 'ypocrites
Mingle with the good people we meet
Good friends we have, oh, good friends we've lost
Along the way
In this great future, you can't forget your past
So dry your tears, I seh
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
'Ere, little darlin', don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry
Said, said, said, I remember when-a we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
And then Georgie would make the fire lights, I seh
A log wood burnin' through the night
Then we would cook cornmeal porridge, I seh
Of which I'll share with you
My feet is my only carriage
And so I've got to push on through
But while I'm gone
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
So no woman, no cry
No woman, no cry
I say, oh little oh little darling, don't shed no tears
No woman, no cry
No woman, no woman, no woman, no cry
No woman, no cry, one more time I've got to say
Oh little little darling, please don't shed no tears
No woman, no cry
No woman, no woman no cry
Thx 😊
AMEN BROTHER
Nearly 50 years later and this masterpiece is still as powerful as ever, great music never dies

People don’t understand, kids listen to Bobs messages too
This music really helps me take my depression and anxiety away. Thank you Bob, your music will live on.
You should sell it in a pill !

One love
Marley ❤
So this is one of my happy remembers of my mother. Back in 1976 she was determined to find this album. We drove to baseline street in San Bernadino (still a tough area). Here was this little white woman (5 ft) not caring about color or boundaries but only wanting this album. It seems silly but this single day taught we are one and that they are no boundaries.
Peace on this journey.
Did she ever get the album?

This is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. No matter how many times you hear you it will never go out of style or get old
Bobs VOCAL talent was under rated. This is a live version of the song. Not a studio recording.
That means the best version of bob was his real self.
Bless up.
One love my brothers and sisters .

Can you imagine witnessing this masterpiece, nearly a perfect piece of music, live in 1975. What a timeless and beautiful work of art… created in one take.

Bob Marley songs have happiness and healing powers .It's like a powerful painkiller even faster in impact. What a different and soothing voice.
Black Panther brought me here 😭😭😭😭
Two legends. Chadwick Boseman and Bob Marley ❣️❣️❣️❣️
As I read the newspaper after school before lunch, I burst into tears. When my mother asked what was wrong, I sobbed, “Bob Marley is dead.”
She didn't even know who Bob Marley was.
But after his death he became more and more popular in the mainstream in Germany. Unvergessen.
Happy birthday, Bob Marley 🇯🇲
Love your music's thank you Bob Marley johnny from Lisbon Portugal 😊

Every little thing is gonna be alright
Every little thing is gonna be alright
The refren No woman no cry has different meaning, it says that without woman there are no feelings into the man and that s why he is not crying, so when there is a woman, there are feelings and love . Simply he said that the world is for two and we must love eachother 💕.
Love
If everyone would spend even a little moment each day to love like Bob did, we would have a so much better world.

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you don't feel pain.
-Bob Marley
Love that saying, but I disagree.
One of the few songs that makes me truly experience the exact feeling of happiness. Long live Bob Marley....
Terence, I wouldn't expect anything less! Thanks for sharing!
This song will forever lift me up even in my darkest days.
I’m listening to the song now and I feel the same way. ✊🏽❤️👌🏽🫶🏽

Sometimes I wonder how the world would be if Bob Marley and Lucky Dube were still here🇯🇲 🇿🇦.....Rest in perfect peace soldiers💚❤️
And the cool ruler(Gregory Isaac's)
Thought the same about Kurt Cobain sadly it would still be this same shit hole, race baiting and curruption still poison modern life.
Like you will not even see any white man in another man's land
