Hey everyone! Have you struggled with roaches invading your space? Share your experiences and let's brainstorm together on effective homemade remedies to keep those pesky critters at bay! 🐜💡 #DIYRoachControl
I tried this two weeks ago. I mixed it with peanut butter. And put that into empty bottle caps. And sprinkled the sugar/borax mixture around the bottle caps. The first few days roaches were lining up for the peanut butter. Now I sometimes see one or two eating the peanut butter. But usually the baits are empty. It has reduced the population. But, they aren't gone yet. I do live in an apartment building. So I now need to get my neighbors on board.
So you mix peanut butter with borax and sugar put in bottle caps .... then put borax around the bottle cap? Just want to do it rt and get rid of them!!
I'm going to try this for my yard with roach trouble; I'm now using this method for ants. Thanks, I didn't know the ratio mix. Hopefully this method will work!!!
I have the same thing all of a sudden I think I found two of them. They were huge anyway I never had them before and I'm thinking maybe it is from the pine pellets that I'm using for litter which I'm praying it's not because that has saved me from my cat spraying.... anyway my neighbor had told me about this Remedy, but with a little bit of a twist because my mom had a little ants at her house and it was borax and honey and it actually worked. I got all the ants out of her house, so I'm definitely gonna try this also, because they they have to go! Does anyone know if pine pellets attract those little buggers????
Borax works for killing fleas also. I used mutiple boxes & spread them threwout my house, on wooden floors. I left it down for a few days, then vacummed it up. I had to do this mutiple times, but it did work. Lots of vacuuming also.
PEANUT BUTTER IS NOT NECESSARY. JUST THE BORAX AND SUGAR. CLEANER, EASIER, AND MOST EFFECTIVE. ALSO, MAKE SURE TO KEEP THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM VERY CLEAN.
I tried borax with sugar and its not effective because the roaches dont like the sugar. Now I start to try it out with peanut butter and hope that works
Quick update. The Borax actually worked! I have not seen a roach in 5 days. All sticky traps are empty! However, I keep going on with the traps and poison due to the eggs maybe still there
@@Lhadonchichak yes, I dont know for sure if its the borax/sugar or borax/peanut butter. But after 2/3 weeks spread the borax in the whole house, they are gone! So it Just takes some time. Remember to keep adding 4 till 6 weeks after they gone! Eggs will hatch and you have to kill the small ones. Sorry for my bad english
@@SgtPot thank you for the update. I have started using peanut better mixed with sugar and boric acid and shoved boric acid under as many gaps as possible. I only see one or 4 at night in the same locations, no where else. Hopefully I can get them dealt with quickly and have my outside area treated also. Problem is the house my neighbor lived in had someone move in and then they had them. Now they have moved and now I have began to see some in my home. I mop everyday, clean all counter tops, cabinets and rooms before night. So no food is prepared to prevent food for them until they starve or die from lack of water.
Imagine them in your home, pooping all over your food and countertops!! I've never had roaches in my life, and just moved into a new place. Omg... It's a nightmare. Luckily they won't get a meal or a drink while I am around.

Yes, you can use it by itself and it will work. All that needs to happen is for the critter to crawl on it and it will ingest the borax while preening (ir cleaning itself). Adding sugar, powdered sugar, and/or peanut butter is the attractant to get them to surely ingest the borax.

Try borax with sugar put into caps and lay them all over the kitchen. Also use roach glue traps put them all over the place in the kitchen also. It’s better to use more then one method if one method doesn’t work the other one will.
Haha Ich nehme Borax jeden Tag zu mir . 6 g Borax in ein Liter Destilliertes Wasser dazugeben und gut schütteln. Dann jeden Tag ein Esslöffel am Morgen und am Abend !!!!

Make up some treatments and give to neighbors on either side of you.
RIGHT … my neighbor got them to but she won’t get rid of them 😬
Peanut butter sounds good. I have plenty of caps since I drink lots of bottled water
Great idea..... I was just gonna ask if I need to add water but I'm gonna do it like you

You can mix it with mashed potatoes. Roaches love the potato.

Beautiful video - except for the many closeups (pics) of cockroaches. Creepy to have to watch, ugh!

Thank you!
Can you use borax just by itself
You need the sugar so they eat it. They won't eat the borax alone.
Im going to try your way. I've used borex by itself. Not borex and sugar, not borex and peanut butter
Owe and ive done the professional starting at a hundred and something one time

Mix it in EQUAL PARTS and it will work.
I think borax might be better then
This video says to use borax.
Can you just use the Borax?
Sugar is the bait

What’s the ratio?
Ratio is 1:1 or half borax and half sugar
