This was so insane to watch live. I thought Gluto was done. We all did. And then he just…won in his worse matchup. It was crazy
Little breakdown of the last interaction : Gluto lands, shifting his momentum last second to avoid the f-tilt, Nair 1 in whiff punish into reading the DI away, acknowledging the second hit wouldn't connect, then he reads the tech roll in (tech roll away was unpunishable by a waft confirm, so it was a 50/50 between tech in place and tech roll in to win the game on this interaction) and finally gets the up tilt waft
There are some characters you should not roll in on and Wario with waft on last stock is *definetely* not one of them
I was going out to dinner with my friend when I noticed that he was coughing really violently almost like he was gasping for air. When I asked him what was wrong all he could say was “KEN”

In a meta filled with Steve, Rob, Sonic, GnW, it’s refreshing to see gluto to well with wario, a char that has been nerfed so hard that half of Japan dropped him as a secondary
I thought everyone hated sonic too much to consider him being in the meta, i thought he was just good 💀
@olimarpikmin976 I don't really see sonic that much at all though... in my state there's literally like 1 or 2 sonics that go to any of the locals here, I've been to like 4 locals this month and there's been 1 sonic

I think he talks about Sonic in general, and I wouldn't count the few times he beaten Sonix, because this was before he became "Mega Top Player Sonix".
@@Eclipsmon8421even that is not even close as he has a set record win over every Sonic player, from Peli, to Wrath and Sonix
His actual demons are practically any Kazuya and Steve player as he never beat Riddles and Acola.
Sonic isn’t much of a demon for him anymore especially with him slowly closing the gap.
Gluto beat Sonix at Pound the same event both placed Top 5 so they’re still at that lvl tho :p
@@Alibaba-id1csa single set record win doesn’t mean it’s not a bracket demon. I can’t speak for other sonic players, but Gluto has only beaten Sonix in their very first set at pound 2022 which was nearly a year and a half ago. Since then, Sonix won all 6 of their sets and even made gluto try a secondary Roy and Wolf which says a lot. Not to mention, Gluto’s win came before Sonix leveled up to become a top 5 player.
TL;DR sonic is absolutely still glutonny’s bracket demon
@@ONLY_RR7the difference between Sonix and KEN is that Glutonny never lost to KEN and has been consistently good vs him.
Sonix had won multiple offline events and got 5th st that Pound he was certainly at that peak but only rose even higher which didn’t even mean much
Sonic is a tough matchup sure, but ain’t no way it’s his actual demons anymore considering he’s beaten everyone and can do it again.
The only real demon is Sonix and not the character. Actual character demons for Gluto are Steves, Kazuyas, and Olimars.

Tbh, something felt off about that match. Ken wasn't camping anymore like he did in game 1. The Sonic hate got to him and so he stopped playing the Sonic game of camping.
