Well, we’ve all seen the foot-activated pull stations mounted at ground level. And installers have been creative since the beginning of time instead of ordering what they actually need for something. There’s a wilderness lodge an hour from me with exterior entrances; the pulls are at 3.5ft so are the horn strobes

I believe they're designed to be mounted really high up (read from the bottom) --hence the "floor" mount
I honestly think these speaker-strobes are very goofy. I prefer the newer versions with the normal "FIRE" text

To work on an addressable they’ve prob got mini modules behind all of them unless the panel is conventional

Was that system running clip protocol? I noticed the detectors didn’t light up green in walk test like they do on flashscan.

The smokes are conventional due to LEDs being red and not clear. Model is notifier Sd-651. Also older flashscan doesn’t do what you mentioned in walk test
