I got mine yesterday. I was telling my wife..."I wish they would have supplied a bag to put all this stuff in". Not sure why mine didn't have it. I guess I'll try contacting the manufacturer. Good video. Thanks
Is there a reason you didn't wire in a fuse? When ever I do any wiring I feel like its almost always a must. Just wondering as I am about to buy and make my own. Going to build it pretty similar. Let me know. I really like this build!!
@@jonnytacooutdoors Glad I bought that one. Maybe I should have read it before I bought it. Haha. Well that's gonna save me some time. I was just going to wire an inline fuse holder. Thank you for the feed back!!
Depends often you’re using it. I have a 5 gallon jug in the back of my truck and I don’t use a lot of water at all because I only use it for washing hands and vegetables. But if you’re using it for showering you might maybe want 10 gallons.
Good setup. It looks like the Joolca hottap V2 . I think the only difference is that Joolca comes with all the parts you just buy.. I saw they have some kit, depending on how you want to spend. Anyway, both look like the best system for Overlanding. This is on my list
Amazing video. Great walk thru the process. Mine didn't come with a quick disconnect on the gas line. Your's came like that or you bough it? Can you tell me what part is that for the gas quick disconenct? I would like to change it on mine. It is just so much more convenient. Thanks for the video!
It did come with the quick disconnect. Did you order yours a long time ago? Maybe send it back and try to get the one with the quick disconnect or just research how to install your own. I’m sure with a couple tools from Amazon you could install your own. Gas lines are not my expertise.😣
@@jonnytacooutdoors I just bought last week. Wierd that they have differen set up. Thanks for the reply. I will look into it. I'm sure finding a coupler like the one yours came with shouldn't be too complicated. Have a great day brother!
@@jonnytacooutdoorsDo you know about how long if it running continuously? I have a Yakima 4 gal road shower, trying to weigh if this would give me the same performance or if i would need more water onboard. Yakima is about 6 min continuous on 4 gal
@@jonnytacooutdoors I was able to locate it in the spec sheet. Ill share in case anyone else i curious. @ min flow rate: .5 gpm. Min temp 93F max 167F. So a 5 gal tank would have 10 min of continuous run. Thats not bad at all! Thanks for ur video by the way, very informative and I saved it for when I go to set up mine this summer.

Is it that tough to find another container?
@@IcutmetalIf you paid for the kit, why should you have to buy components yourself?
Nothing better than a hot shower when you're out camping!

Great video. Thanks. I will be installing one on my DIY overlander. After using it, how many Gallon tank do you recommend installing on a DIY camper?

Ahhh man so awesome. Definitely gonna come in handy.
Can’t wait to use it on the trail😎
Does the pump have a cut off when shower not in use?
It does the camplux nozzle has an on and off button
What fittings did you use for your gas inlet, since it comes as 1/2" BSP?
It came with quick release fittings
My truck has a ac outlet in the bed, would it work to connect a ac plug instead of the dc one your using?
Not sure! You could always get a AC to DC converter💪🏼
No fuse?
THANK YOU!!!! Great idea, gotta do it.....
Yes! Still yet to use it on the trail. Gotta wait until the temperatures aren’t freezing so I don’t damage the unit. 💪🏼
Clean!

How quickly does it go through 5 gallons of water?
Depends how long you keep the water running
