I think this is true for tons of learners.
I can say language is a breath of fresh air.
To learn a language, involves keeping fit, sleeping and eating well, meeting people and so much more. Language etc is like a passport to readjustment to a new way forward.
I didn't originally decide to learn languages, but sort of drifted into it.
Yeah my life is falling apart, the rest is like a tragic war zone. I feel like a refugee in my own home, own country. But through language, has given me a way forward to readjust a new life.
I wish you all the best. And to those who are beginner and lost people. Don't know what to do... start studying 📖 languages.
The only set back is that I'm struggling with the Mandarin R sounds and 2 sound.
      Such a tongue twister.
      😂
It's better then sitting around with bad rabbits or grieving. Better to study. Study, look after health, food, drinks, sleep, excerise. Start singing because it's good for you. Learn to play an instrument.
Lastly, I can't comprehend why people love to read in the toilet. 😂

Learning a language can give you dopamine hits and make you feel good. Be sure to get the rest of your life in order first. Set some goals and find rewards you can give yourself for reaching them.
If you are using language learning to keep your self esteem afloat, you should be focusing on the rest of your life first.
Life is hard and getting harder. Don't fall into the trap of hiding in your happy place. Get out there and work for what you want. Use language learning as a reward for reaching some other goal.

Three characters-a-day will get you around 1100 a year.
Three years of that will get you around 3300 characters.
One for breakfast, one for lunch, one for dinner.
That's not too scary, is it?
I recorded everything I said for two weeks and translated it.
You tend to repeat yourself and do the same things over and over.
If you start with the language that you habitually use day-to-day, you will learn quickly.

When I lose motivation or have a bad time, I like to watch your videos, it always recharges my batteries and I go back to learning :) I must admit that I am very pleased with myself, next month it will be a full year since I started learning Chinese, on this occasion I am taking the HSK3 exam, to test myself and summarize this first chapter. I still have a long way to go, although it's nice to remember how during the first days it was difficult to remember basic phrases like 很高兴认识你。It was even nicer to learn, as I progressed, that each character had its own meaning and was not just a string of characters.

Excellent video! Just one thing… the power of now talks about not having an identity, and your main recommendation in the video is about creating an identity. I know the book well and also know the identity method well and am conflicted, then to my surprise, you used these examples in your video.
That aside, your teaching method is a more structured version of how I learn. I’ve been learning Chinese for 3-4 years, mostly passively through my wife and her family (and drinking with Chinese people) but I found it hard to stay consistent with practice. Even though the recommended way is to learn from a native speaker, I think that there are a lot of things that Chinese teachers can miss when explaining stuff, and the way that you do it is super clear. Really appreciate your videos and wish you the best with everything!

Happy Women's day, especially to female students and teachers.
It’s, Thursday 7th March 2024 and I have been a self taught language student since January 2024.
    1. Practice singing notes.
    2. Eating/drinking healthily.
    3. Keeping fit.
    4. Healthy sleeping habits.
    5. Meditation to music, and
How the Chinese characters are written and what they mean and how they’re used.
    6. Study linguistic.
    7. Study pronunciations.
Watch films, News, in the target language.
    8. I’m trying to the few words that I do know in my daily life.
    9. By the end of the day, I’ve studied so hard that I realised I have actually managed to not consume so many prescription pain medicines and medicines for insomnia.
    10. I’m socworn out, I realise that it’s is very easy to sleep well too. As a bonus, I am thinking that sleeping helps to remember those Mandarin words that I kept forgetting.
So to all you learners, I wish you the very best.
BTW, HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY, AND BE KIND especially to all females of ALL species. And if your a guy, please be kind to your ladies in your life and females.

Hello blueprint team?! I have a question, little bit off topic. I am really confused in which orders should I start learning Chinese words.
Should I learn them in bundles?
    Ex: Fruits
    Apple,
    Banana,
    Orange.
But then they will have completely different characters that I don’t know yet.
Or should I start with the most basic amount of characters, maybe each one will be completely unorganised, but they will not be as confusing, for their characters will be simpler or even consist out of one sillable.
So my question is: Should I start learning language by learning characters (and their respectfull words) chaotically by how simple they are first, or should I focus on learning words in order, before learning characters?
    So what do I do?

    • @bennyorthner7223
      @bennyorthner7223 3 месяца назад +1

Learning in groups is definitely not recommend. The goal should be to reach a point where the language becomes comprehensible as soon as possible, and by definition the fastest way to do this is by learning the most commonly occuring characters first. Learning all the fruits is fun, but how often do oranges really come up in every day speech 🤷‍♂️ for example.
I've learned about 1350 characters and orange has not even come up yet, neither the fruit nor the colour.

    • @MandarinBlueprint
      @MandarinBlueprint  3 месяца назад +1

bennyorthner7223 is right. Learning in groups is an inefficient way to learn the language.
Our Mandarin Blueprint method has a unique character learning order that focuses on getting you to fluency as quickly as possible. While it still takes significant effort, we've made it as engaging as fun and possible to keep you interested throughout the process, which is one of the keys in picking up any new language. You can take a look at the testimonials from our many successful members and see if you'd like to try it out for yourself.

    in brief:
The video outlines a comprehensive approach for achieving language fluency with just one hour of study per day. Key points include:
    1. **Mindset and Motivation**: Establishing a strong reason or "why" for learning a language is crucial. Visualizing positive experiences that come with fluency can help sustain motivation.
    2. **Identity as a Language Learner**: Embrace the identity of a language learner, integrating language study into your daily life and habits.
    3. **Effective Time Management**: Strategies like habit stacking, sacrificing less important activities, and leveraging life hacks enable even busy individuals to find time for language learning.
    4. **Learning Methods and Resources**:
    - Avoid focusing excessively on grammar initially; immersion in the language is more beneficial.
    - Use spaced repetition software and mnemonic techniques to efficiently build vocabulary.
    - Diversify language learning resources to include audio, video, and reading materials that interest you.
    5. **Speaking Practice**: Engage in speaking practice early on, using tools like ChatGPT and finding language exchange partners or tutors to improve conversational skills.
    6. **Habit Tracking**: Utilize habit trackers to monitor and encourage consistent study habits.
    7. **Maximizing Learning Efficiency**: Enhance immersion experiences by actively learning from them, such as making flashcards for new words and focusing intently during study sessions.
The video emphasizes that consistent, focused effort, even in small daily increments, can lead to significant progress in language learning.gpt4
