Weird that the trailers don't have hydraulic drive for extra traction, I'd think that would save them a TON of money vs the extra diesel for the rescue tractors
hydraulik asit is just shit ton of weight extra to tow ant it just helps nothing becaus stuck is stuck
It might not be like this all the time. If its rare to have this type of field condition, then it might not make financial sense.

couldn't you just have hooked the trailers up to the ford? you have to unhook and rehook the tractors anyways. it wouldn't take but half an hour to make some sort of hydraulic jack. plus I think the ford could use some duals.
Not road legal here, you can only be 3 meters wide, 10 feet.

Als jullie dit redelijk vaak doen, zou ik voor iedere trekker een kabel laten maken die permanent vast zit of aan de trekhaak aan de achterkant , of de achter as aan beide kant want je kan een trekker veel gemakkelijker in twee trekken dan je denkt. De jongen die diep ploegen in de polders hebben het enkele keren meegemaakt and zij trekken andere trekkers via een kabel van de achterkant, zo het uit elkaar trekken van trekkers te vermijden.

waarom geen maiskarren met aangedreven assen of wachten tot het vriest en de mais dorsen
mischien kunne ze da nie betale, aangedreven wagen. als je dorst hedde veel minder opbrengdt van uw akker want mee dorsen neemde alleen de kolf mee.

You shouldn't have been harvesting in those conditions.
You don't always have a choice. Waiting for the field to dry is of little use; the Dutch autumn is a period with frequent rain showers so the conditions wouldn't improve until next spring. Moreover maize harvesting is mainly done by contractors and they have their planning too.
Oh and by the way, this field isn't even that bad.
In the netherlands you have to harvest in this conditions
