That’s the right way to do it! I normally do it with a flat screwdriver brutally 😅

Haha that will do it as well 😅

A gentlemans way to do it .) Cant wait for more vids mate, have you ever thought about upgrading the oil cooler ? Change the cooler part of it for a diesel one from magneti marelli, its as twice as bigger and it looks like a way forward to increase a reliability, cheers

I did this on mine a year and a bit ago. But I've screwd it up. :I
I've glued the new one crucked. And I did not see it, because from the feont it looks fine, but one one side it was not presses in completelly, so there is a gap. :(
Oh well. I then bought a somplete chrome trim with the new emblem installed as well. But I am saving it for when (and if) I have the bonnet resprayed due to cracked paint around the emblem.
Original ones last a long time, 10+ years. No need for protection. 😊

I did my rear one last year on my Brera with the electric boot button. Bought off ebay (not OEM) and lacquered it and it's faded again. Where did you get your OEM one from? Cheers
Good tip about heating up the glue before application.

Only buy original ones. You can find them easily. They last 10+ years.
      Buy cheap, buy again...

If you want this badge to last you should spray some lacquer on it before putting it on. It helped me a lot

Mine faded after 2 years😢 I did double coat it with clear laquer...maybe not being an oem badge is a factor...

No matter what you do, the cheap crap will go bad. Only buy original emblems. They last 10+ years
Everything else is a waste of time ans money. This cars are not some Fiat Punto, don't try to save money on parts...
