Malakai is a product of the British choir tradition, both Anglican and Roman Catholic. I had the pleasure of learning from Barry Rose when he came over to work on our choir for a festival. The British take it Seriously.

I strongly recommend doing Malakai's other two performances. He's just THAT GOOD. Also check his main competition, Olivia Lynes. She sings more in the West End/Broadway tradition, but she has an outstanding voice, too. It was a total injustice to both of them that they didn't make the final 3. One of them should have won. The guy who did was a total joke.

I have NEVER heard this "Song" before but it sounds to me it is just a lot of screaming and it is obvious the kid has not yet grown a pair to sing like that, I will wait to pass judgement when I hear Lucy and Martha sing it !!!
