Man your videos are so inspiring lol here I’m celebrating finally taking my 2000th step with a walker and you’re strutting our onto a beach with the same knee I have and going surfing lol I’ll get there come to find out laying in bed for 7 months makes ya weak. I wish I knew how bad my leg was from the get go I never would have put myself through that.
James Rowland Hi James, a few years ago I could have written this message too. If someone had predicted this video then I would have laughed at them, it just seems so impossible! So time, support and some hope made a huge change over the past few years to be able to do this. I hope all this and more for you my friend, it’s more doable that one thinks. Also the body’s ability to recover is astonishing, just some care and a slow process to healt is possible. All the best! ☀️
Yea the only scary part for me is i have to go back to work driving a semi here in oh about two months or we will be living in a box somewhere lol good thing I don’t need to be able to walk great just to hold a steering wheel all day!

Thanks Philip, I'm hoping to get a video out soon where we surf in some proper conditions. Also doing a video on 7 outdoor activities as an amp soon - cycle, kayak, hike, surf, motorbike, swim, crutch.
would be great to see more of your crutching

Im a though the knee left leg amputee it looks like you are too . Im in the Uk and going to get back to surfing this year after a 30 year break , lost my leg back in 2010 and didn’t think I could get back on a surf board but I see you are a knee boarder I never even gave that a thought so I’m gonna give it a go thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Hi Tim, man im so sorry I missed your message back when you posted it. How is the surfing going? It was one of the best things I started doing again after waiting for years too, but every time I go in the water I smile for a week. Look forward to hearing how many times you got barrelled 😊☀️
