Thank you for all the great advice I’ve just got a rheo XC and I love it - it’s so easy to set up and love that you don’t need to change the functions with a remote...best but is being able to go upstairs foot over foot 💪🏻👌🏻😍

Hopefully I can get the xc this month. Both of my rheo 3 knees batteries to a crap within 3 weeks. I have the batteries coming from Singapore and China. Hopefully I'm able to get the soldering done properly. There's 4 li ion panasonic prismatic battery cells in the knee connected to a circuit board. Figures crossed

I tested the power knee and do not trust it. After using it for just two days, it went into the stair-step mode while I was walking on a flat, dry surface. The consequences were that I had a very hard fall. Other times, while I was walking, it went into the stand mode and resisted bending while I was walking. The software controlling it seems to get confused as to what I need. I agree with the guy in that the power knee is not for me. Plus, its very noisy

can you address the cost please? the cost?
in most of the countries you can not even know the cost of it because it is payed by insurance, and cost is together with the service and the rest of the prosthetic parts. I paid 7000$ for used rheo xc , 2 years old

I just got the cast mold of my stump yesterday and looking forward to utilizing my RHEO KNEE XC in the weeks to come.. my prosthetist at the VA really speaks highly of this leg . Thanks for your review be it about 5 years old..😂look forward to watching more of your videos. God bless…

As a AK amputee, have you experienced sciatic pain. It always been a case when I get fitted with new prosthesis, Any advise !
Ameen Khan, It helps if you are handy with a heat gun and your prosthetic guy allows you to work on the check socket.
A high quality socket cannot be accomplished in a few visits it takes time. Your limb needs time to mold into a socket over quite a few weeks of socket tweaking.
I will wear the test socket while doing small tasks then heat it up and refine the fit over 2-4 weeks. I want my leg to form into the new shape the socket is asking.
This allows me to really get a good fit and not hurt my stump. Check sockets are not ideal or comfortable.
So next time get the test socket allow yourself some time to work on it. When you need to go walk a long distance switch to your definitive socket.
Make small tiny adjustments when heating it up, don't go crazy because your leg shape will change fast.
Remember both the check socket and stump need to come together slowly and change so its a good marriage.
