My name's Paige and I am in my second year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

How less of her day was with her phone. She have a lot of productive and actual social activities for the purpose of relaxation. Also time management and living a real life was so evident. There is a reason she is here. Very impressive.

Me - gets out of bed at 8:30 when I have a 9am lecture and walk in 10 minutes late.

Wake up at 3 pm after a massive sesh with the lads
Watch the football till 7 pm
Do some work till 9pm

Oh gosh, we have the same feelings about working in the library. I always feel less motivated in my dorm room especially since there's a bed near my desk, always trying to magnet me (except when a deadline is fast-approaching so what is sleep!). Libraries pressure me to be productive because it just has that kind of atmosphere! haha
I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that you did not watch a single RUclips video or Netflix movie/episode during the whole weekend. How is this possible?? What is the secret? How do you resist?
I think she puts goals in her mind to achieve it I do that once u have the reason to study everything well be easy
What an organized weekend! Got some quantum mechanics homework done, prepared CV for internship, social with friends, and failed to social with those not on the staircase:) With this level of efficiency she be able to achieve too many things in life. And I have to say her cuteness and quantum mechanics appearing in the same video helps to reinforce my brain to associate beautiful with advanced physics just like what music does to her study session :)

Pro tip (especially for communal washing machines as things can get stuck in the machine!)
Use a mesh bag for socks (you can get one at Poundland so no 'broke student' excuses!). Hang it up somewhere and put your socks in as you change them, zip it up and throw it in the washing machine. You'll never have unpaired socks again.
I'm a first year and have been doing this and still have all 10 pairs of socks I bought before moving.
(another tip, buy socks that are all the same colour, so it doesn't matter if you lose the pair, because they all go together)

Okay but seriously, HOW do you stay so motivated and avoid lying in bed all day eating junk and bingeing Netflix? That was my uni experience 😂
You sound so natural not a freak studying only but actually talking discussing and freaking out over fail attempts and doing other stuff like a normal person who is willing to achieve more in life.... I am thrill and I quite enjoy watching you do all this stuff. 👍

I enjoy listening to your blog! It takes me back to my university days (Cornell), when I studied engineering and physical sciences. (So I can relate to what you're going through course-wise more directly than some of your other viewers.) But more importantly, I think that you have a great attitude about balancing course work with sports and other activities. Despite the difficulty of your chosen curriculum, you are a good example to anyone of how to have a well-rounded 'uni' experience. I hope that you get millions of viewers, particularly high school students in the U.S., because you are an excellent role model. Cheers!

I've been soooo lazy in my studies lately...but seeing your video gives an insight and its really inspiring. I've actually stopped being productive after my highschool and turned my time mostly for gaming even though i joined a good college. But now i think it's time to move on and start studying seriously. Seeing u spend so much time for studies wants me to actually make a plan for my studies.

It's such a good cookbook for beginners and students, I've been checking her blog despite not being a student anymore.

I love your videos! Such beautiful imagery not to mention the lightheartedness of it all, the facial expressions, the voice pitches, etc make it even more enjoyable.
Two basic statements I believe to be true. 1. All socks devolve into the 'odd socks only' state after n washes. 2. Dark matter is thought to compose 85% of matter in the universe, is non-baryonic in nature, formed from some currently unknown particles. It's socks isn't it? Possibly keys as well and the little bits of stuff that come with all electronic devices, but are never there when you need them. Also possibly including necessary paperwork, but only on the night before it is due in. I think ultimately string theory will be replaced with missing sock theory, and the extra dimensions of the eleven it posits are in the gunky lint stuff at the bottom of the sock.

Here's a hack for the sock issue at the beginning: safety pin your socks together so they wash together and you won't lose one or both.
Welcome to the "studying while listening to music" squad! :D I like to listen to music without any lyrics (e.g film music. Recently, I've been listening to the Game of Thrones soundtracks!) bc then I'm even more focused
Mxlody I know right, most of the times I get lost in the lyrics. I usually listen to piano or violin, or music in a language I don't understand. GoT soundtracks, especially LotS is amazing.

The amount of work she puts in on her weekdays is equal to me putting effort for my finals. The only thing i find interesting in umi is doing loads of labwork - molecular.and microbio labs are fun but tiring. Very motivating keep up the great work

@BlackWidow2_2 Maybe you did not study at a leading Russel Group Uni, what people forget is that you dont study a lot just to appear disciplined, it REALLY IS completely NECESSARY just to even have a chance in the final exam. Those Universities are just damn, damn hard. I know this myself, did a MSc in Edinburgh in a STEM subject. There are HUGE differences between leading RG unis and average non RG unis, it is a very very different story.

The kind of student getting straight A's studying 30-45 minutes a day. Honestly it's quite frightening to see how much work some people put in for school
Uni is much different from school though- some degrees you learn as much as you want and limit yourself through lack of studying, e.g, science, medicine, vet med, there's no limit to the amount of studies you can read about and learn from. At school you just get a specification of facts to learn, much easier
