  • This egg dish (locally referred to as “frtalja”) is a staple in the wider Slovene Littoral, even though each village seems to put its own spin on it. The Vipava version features fresh herbs and aromatic plants. In winter months, carefully selected pieces of cured meat give some bite to the dish and round off the harmony of flavours.
