xjessx yeah the last few episodes have been disappointing, I was wondering if the podcast in general wasn’t as good as I remembered but this one was thoroughly enjoyable. These three have a really great dynamic, it always feels like you are spying on a real deep and meaningful conversation. Maybe on a long car drive.

Until I started actually taking care of mental and psychical health, which was connected with people around me and environment that I was in. Making a start with pushing things away that keeps you away from progressing it is something that I am still working on, but it's a life changer to be aware of it all.

How Logan explains he’ll teach his kids about drugs is exactly how my dad taught me about drugs. He taught me from his experiences and the only thing I’ve ever done is Marijuana and my first time smoking was with him so I could do it safetly. Having a trusting and respectful relationship with your kids kids and reaching them from your own experiences is the best way

Basically everybody's life goal is essentially "reduce the amount of suffering in life" even if they frame it differently.
Whether that means doing things that are bad for them but give them pleasure, or making life as good as they can for themselves and/or others.
That seems like a pessimistic way of looking at things
Suffering is constant in life. In that case, to avoid suffering is not the goal. But to find things in life that are worth suffering for.
Like I said, we can all frame it a little differently but it achieves the same goal.
Suffering is the baseline of life - everyone that is alive knows that. No matter how hard you work there is some way you are suffering through life.
Whatever you do naturally is ingrained in you as a living being and a person, as a means to reduce the immediate suffering of your experience. Some people have the ability to plan for the long term reduction of suffering more than the former.
Some people would choose to live a life where suffering is rarely a factor, Others choose to life a life of suffering and call it an honest days work.

Okay I have to say mike is the big reason i enjoy this podcast so much because what he said about when people say “just do what makes you happy” but not knowing what that is so it not helping and instead pushing the bad away to use process of elimination is actually super insightful. Because some people aren’t just having an internal struggle it’s some force in their life causing the harm that they can’t control. THAT IS THE REASON WHY PEOPLE GET SO MAD AT CELEBRITIES WHEN THEY SAY FAME AND MONEY DOESNT MAKE YOU HAPPY! I’m not saying it’s right at all for people to make other people just because they are rich and famous feel like they aren’t allowed to feel BUTTT!! For example my life most of my big problems I COULD FIX IF I HAD MONEY and I don’t so I can’t and that has taken all my energy and you start to get defeated and lose your passion because you can’t keep up with bills. Money is just one example because I personally am talking about growing up in an abusive childhood it was awful to hear people just say be happy when your life at home is hell. And when your childhood home life is bad until you’re 18 you are just a glorified prisoner.
