I have the reefdose 4, love every bit of it. Had some troubles in the beginning but after a few software updates, everything is running well. I had the clicking noise as well on pump nr 3, i pushed it against the doser en let it run, worked for me
I also own the Reefdose 4 and was an early adopter. This is a great, compact, and importantly very accurate doser, the colorful flexible tubing also fantastic. My only complaint would be that the mobile app is a little laggy and sometimes has trouble connecting to the main unit, thought this has improved over last few updates on iphone.
Use the Red Sea dosing pipes. They look great. Not sure if I would mount it that far above the tank in case of siphoning. I know it shouldn’t but you can’t be too careful

For this dozer, if you are away on vacation and power happens to go off, would it have to wait to reconnect to your phone to start running again as programmed?
March try making your own two part mix? Cheap as hell ....especially for your needs ....gotta be cheaper than pulling bottles off the shelf all the time....soda ash for Alk dose....for its PH boosting benefits
I think pulling bottles off the shelf is the point, no? This is mostly a sales channel, no matter how often March says it isn't. Given the incentives at play, it wouldn't make any sense if they didn''t pitch products. I like FB, shop there a few times a year, but let's not kid ourselves :).
WHy did you choose those 2 bottles rather than All For Reef? from TMC? You mentioed you used Red seas offering in the store too? what do you think of All For Reef?
How are they working for you, are they quieter then the Neptune Dos? I need a doser and I’ve just gotten into the Neptune system with a JR but I don’t know what doser to get. Living room system so it be nice not to be overly loud. Neptune Dos, Red Sea or Ecotech Versa. My local lfs says to get a doser to dose NeoNitro and NeoPhos to make it easier and more stable, my tanks been running 4 months now
What’s your opinion on the RS ReefDose now that you’ve had it running for 6 months? Do you recommend it or is something else better without getting into the cost of full Apex? Thanks
I've been using the reefdose for about 5 months now. If your internet drops, so does the doser and it will not reconnect without a FULL reboot and reset up. Dosing continues of course, but you have no access through the app. Luckily the app saves your information, but the reboot process is a pain in the ass when it happens. Especially for the price you pay for this doser.
Hated mine. Software was garbage ended up selling on Facebook. Also you can’t dose continuously from it for Kalk making it useless for that. The dosing tubes however are a big win.
I have one, it’s fine as a $400 doser, but $800?! Buy the versa 4 pack. I use 1 versa for my kalk, and use the Dose for 3 part and 0.5ml Nopox daily. Each tool has its place 😊
I wish neptune would make there DOS like this.... Like why the heck does it have to be so massive for only 2 pump heads. Biggest gripe about my neptune system
Automatic dosing of heavy metals like potassium and Iodine would worry me, but I'm curious how this goes. Edit: if you mount it like that and it siphons either into your tank, kiss it goodbye. Shockingly bad idea to promote.
The dosing container is higher than the ends of the dosing lines. All a siphon needs is gravity, and I wouldn’t assume the dosing line can’t siphon because it’s going through a peristaltic pump. But whatever, hook up heavy metals to a doser like that, enjoy.
the red sea pp is absolutely dog shit. mine disconnected from the internet all the time and then messes with the lighting schedule and i have to reset the light, uninstall the app and completely re setup everything. not great when i am on holiday.
Considering plastic waste is harming the oceans and in turn the animals we keep, you’d think companies in this hobby would do everything possible to minimize waste. Was that plastic over wrap essential to the packaging? It could have been replaced by 2 stickers if they want the box sealed. I’m no environmental freak, but we should all just try a little bit. Damn.

9:01 manual priming button will not work until you turn on the “priming mode” in the app

I find that they are so thin that they clog very easy with 2 part. Especially if you are using the prob holder with those small clips at the end.

If you are setting up that doser for the tank, is it still connected to the farm system?

The aquavitro sentia are the coolest man , they would also work better with the wall style you got there imo.
I like these flexible little guys. Never used them, but I can't imagine they aren't just as good as the RS doser. Just cheaper and more flexible.
Yup . RS doser is bulky i did not like the design . The sentia can go anywhere with much style.
