To be honest, I hadn't played an EA Fifa for years until this last one and I'm surprised how little progress has been made in terms of realism in visuals and game flow. A bit of competition might be what's required to get some real progress.
I wish they could go back to the old times... Back when FIFA World Cup games were still a thing... I think it would be genius if they released a new Fifa game every 4 years every world cup, and simply updated it over time like literally every other normal game does.

I just want career mode where you can edit a player to have cold/wet weather uniforms and warm weather. The fact that EA refused to spend a dime, or have historic teams or players to put in career mode or change their age, tells me it’s only about greed. I wished 2k would make a soccer game.

they don't need to build everything from scratch like they could work with Hideo Koujima since he owns the engine that built the PES game before and after his leaving Konami changed the whole game, that's a starting point + Unreal Engine 5
They need to bring back tournament rooms where you can invite players to a private room so you can have a 2 v2 tournament only the older fifa generation players will remember this mode !!😊
Unless they partner with some big game studio they can forget about competing with EA. It took EA years to become what it is today. But I hope it works out we are getting the same game by EA for the past few years.
