Noire de Barbentane main crop 10/8/2023

Classic French fig. Very good but not sure it’ll survive the cut given how late it is. I don’t think this is one that would work in the ground for me. It may need a head start in most years to develop more sugar earlier in the season.

@@HRDRZ it’s ripened quite a few without a head start. Also dropped quite a few. I was gone for a month straight so most of the trees suffered.
