Glad to see you're doing better. Hang in there man. I can't wait to see you back on the bike, but when the time is right. Don't rush it. #neverevergiveup
I feel your pain! I shattered my elbow riding dirt bikes but I broke my ulna. I had 4 surgeries on it. I wasn’t getting my movement back so the 4th surgery was to remove the plate and screws. Once those were removed I felt so much better and started to heal. No doubt you’re on the road to recovery now. I totally understand your frustration, anxiety, and depression. Keep your head up because you’ll be back to normal before you know it.
I believe you will be back . The sport needs you and more like you . Loads of talent and good family man . Wish you all the best 👍 hey what about your boy Haiden ? Was that epic or what .... you were a big influence on him when he went to star . 🌟 he watched you hitting those whoops and he wanted to learn from you . Get well soon 🙏
Man, that has got to be so frustrating. The good news is the entire Moto community is thinking about you and sending good thoughts your way. You got this, dude. No problem.
Hey Vaughn here from New Zealand. I had the radial head removed in my right arm in 1997. Took a while to settle down but it made a huge difference in my arm and hasn't caused me problems in the last 26years. All the best .
Dang it man I know your over these surgeries but I know you have the desire to do whatever it takes to get riding again we definitely miss you out there to shake it up. Hopefully and prayerfully its finally healing that's so awesome of Jagger coming along with you continue healing 🏝🌊💪🙏🏆🏁
I can’t even begin to imagine how frustrating this has to be for Christian. Don’t forget all you have to be grateful for while you’re going through this.
I broke my xyphoid process so I'm just chillen for the next 6 -8 weeks which is a bummer but seeing your situation makes me thankful! Hang in there Champ!!!! And I'm most def about to order a shirt!
You've been through it all Christian. Thank God for your family to help you through! You know the path, you've done it and became a Champion for it. Keep grittin & rippin... David Goggins will help you flip that switch... You got kids and Danger who all need your coaching pep talks... so there's the silver lining! And your story seems to only get more interesting! See you back out there soon I hope... oh yeah, thanks at 5min in, it'S unreaL bro! Gnarly listening to the Doctor talk about your surgery and how chill you were..✌🤠🏁
praying that this is the fix you have been looking for we miss having you out there mixing it up . I'm sure its heart breaking for Paige to see the anguish you are going thru but your family is strong and we know you'll get back on the bike as soon as its time stay safe and stay positive !!
Keep your head up man. As long as the wife and kids are healthy life is good. Got staples in my arm right now. Had some metal removed and the ulnar nerve moved to inside the elbow. Heal well.
I work in a medical machine shop and radial heads were the first implants i machined about 4 years ago. Bummed you have to get one but cool to see stuff similar to what I’ve made being able to help someone
You doing the movement of hitting whoops in the recovery room got me good. Best wishes on this go around, bro. Looking forward to seeing you back next year!
Hey Christian, a PRO ATV MOTOCROSS rider #741 sustained almost the same identical injury that you did and still have . He's had several operations on his left arm and has overcome it enough to where he's back racing in the 2023 PRO ATV MOTOCROSS nationals .I talked to him about contacting you to talk about each one of your injury situations but don't know if he did or not? I think that you two could definitely benefit from each other to help overcome it and get you back out on the track again ! Hope all goes well for you and definitely reach out to him 👍💪😎🙏❤️🇺🇸
If you end up needing to get a radial head replacement, look into the ones made of Pyrocarbon. I’m not sure they’re available in the US yet, but I believe they have a longer life expectancy than ones made of titanium.
Get well soon Craig try not to be too frustrated, you’ll get there the only thing I I wish they would have kept you on a Yamaha 450 ride your great for the team.
Not sure if you will read this Christian but I fractured and dislocated my right elbow in October last year and it is still not healed properly, I didn’t get surgery I let it heal on it own but it takes a while is what I am getting at. Hope third time is a charm and you can get back on the bike soon
I destroyed my Right Elbow in 1975 on my 18th Birthday racing my 75 KX125 here in Manitoba Canada.. I had my Radius Head removed as well...and raced 14 more years ..my arm still hurts daily but has recovered to almost 75% extension and almost 80% fully pulled back .. i thnk it rotates about 80% too... i talked to a surgeon on RUclips and explained my surgery and he said that is a common repair today too... Hope all goes well in rehad and your Career...Don't rush your arm ok..like your Doctor said ..Slow wins the Race in Recovery....Racing Motorcycles is Different of Course ..well sometimes backing down can Win the Race...too. 😆 Most of my Friends rushed recovery and it didn't work out Short Term and Long Term... but we all know our bodies right?? See you soon at the Starting line....my arm was weak for a long time even working with weights and. trying to build it back up...i totally shattered my Elbow ..Take Care 🤘
Do you wish you would have gotten an implant instead of just removing the radial head? Kinda of what I’m trying to figure out right now haha thank you!
@@PaigeChristianCraig Yeah if that was an option i would have probably had better recovery and my arm would have been closer to being back to " Normal " !! I was kinda hoping you got the new part uograde !! But maybe the Surgeon felt this was what YOU needed done?? Don't mean to push you to another surgery ? Thanks for the reply....
@@PaigeChristianCraig When i saw you walking with your arm before surgery..it took me back to 1975!! I remember my arm like that after my first surgery..i had a second one to remove bone chips and stuff about a month after 1st surgery....
I crushed my left radial head in 2004 and had the same thing done. My arm still doesn't go all the way straight and it doesn't rotate in the joint like it should when I turn my hand over. Doenst hurt at all but it does look funny. They told me its only scar tissue holding it but I never could get it straight. I wish I woulda kept trying. Best of luck to ya bud. My wife and I are huge fans!
Do you wish you would have gotten an implant in to replace the radial head or were you fine without it? Trying to figure out if I need to get that done or if it’s good haha
Hang in there brother there will be sunshine ahead. Sending prayers your way

Curious why go back to Vale for surgery instead of somewhere in Florida? Wanting to keep same doctor?
