Johnathan on the organ, and Tom on the piano, spectacular, simply spectacular.
The muggles in my life will never understand how much fun this was for me to watch!
It's a great performance both are extremely accomplished musicians.
How absolutely joyous!!! Thanks for the post!
Joyous - a great description!!
Who needs orchestra when you have organist
Oh you two are the very best.
The playing is wonderful -of course - and the flourish from the pianist at the end absolutely makes it.
(It's called 'entertainment' - and why not?!)
[Edit, on Nov.6.20: The next comments are in response to a buffoon who posted some rubbish in response to my first comment, above. He has, however, had the good sense to remove his remarks - or perhaps they were taken down for him. Who knows?]

Oh dear ... I think you might need someone to check your computer. It seems to be spewing out gibberish!
It's not his computer ... it's his brain. (I've come across this clown, before!)

Bravo, that piece sounds as though it should always have been played on the organ and piano, made for those instruments. Congratulations on such a fabulous rendition.

Who filmed this? It would be a bit hard for Tom to do it, as he was performing.
How can you ask that question having watched Tom's amazing shots of the beautiful churches and cathedrals? I don't know how many cameras Tom has but I would guess at least a dozen. I've often wondered if he has a drone to capture some of those "downward" shots, undoubtedly from balconies. These brothers are multi-talented. Jonathan is a master on the organ (and harmonium and piano) as well as composing and transcribing. Tom is not only a concert pianist but expert at filming, editing, recording as well as composing. And then we have to talk about his animations--superb! I don't know what group could possibly challenge the talents of the Scott Brothers at the ECHO competitions. Their talent is virtually unmatched, their timing is more reflective of identical twins or clones!!
What I can positively say is that the pandemic lockdowns were bearable only because I discovered the Scott Brothers on You Tube! Thanks for the sanity and sheer enjoyment.
@@annemcgirt5296 I could ask that question very easily, because incredibly clever as Tom is, he doesn't have four arms. I am guessing that he had an assistant or assistants to operate the cameras as he was performing, but that is only a guess. I am trying to find out actually how he did it. And I completely agree with you about the Scott brothers' incredible talents and abilities. I hear Jonathan is transcribing the entire Planets suite for the Organ. What a gargantuan undertaking. I can't wait to see the performance, via Tom's superb camerawork.
@@CraigRodmellMusic I do know that in at least one of the home concerts, while was Jonathan was talking about the next piece, Tom was repositioning one camera. There was at least one other camera in the music room at their home. If you look closely at some of the concerts you can see cameras on tripods as well as microphones.
If you want a glimpse of the camera setup that Tom uses, go to the Saint-Saens Symphony No. 3 video and look at the closeup shots of Jonathan, particularly the pedal shots. The view of the left side pedal camera is really good in the middle of the video (the camera is very visible above the tripod legs). You can also see the right side camera from the across the pedal board. If you look carefully from the back of the cathedral shots focusing on the organ, you can see the tripod pole pretty plainly to Jonathan's right. I don't know how many cameras Tom has, I just know his editing skills are very proficient as he manages to piece together shots from all over every church, cathedral or concert hall to the music in perfect timing!
@@annemcgirt5296 I agree. I'm in awe of his videography skills as well as his musical ones.
