- Quick guide to Attumen the Huntsman in M+ Lower Karazhan - Shadowlands Season 4.
I've firsthand seen 10 groups completely quit on this boss so I'm making this to link to my own groups tbh.
Season 4 of Shadowlands brings 2 new mythic plus dungeons: Grimrail Depot and The Iron Docks, as well as the return of Karazhan and Mechagon as they join Tazavesh in the dungeon rotation together with the new Shrouded mythic plus affix. Also arriving is the Fated raid system, letting us play all 3 Shadowlands raids: Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination & Sepulcher of the First Ones at pretty much the same time throughout the season, with their drops and bosses scaled up with new Fated affixes.
If you think I can improve in some way with videos like this, I didn't ask, but lemme know in the comments anyways.

As of August 22nd, Atumen the Huntsman will no longer cast Intangible Presence.
We did it, its over.
If anyone reading this struggles with something in keys currently, lemme know what it is and I'll make something on it :D

Best thing that worked for me as a healer is in yell SPLIT when the debuff we need to dispel comes up so I could see who it was on. I was in an all melee group so it was hard to tell when clumped up. Hope this helps some.

AWSOME GUIDE! now i know what it looks like but consider my vision ain't that great, it's still hard for me to tell who to dispel. I had to rely on my team on discord and call out if they have the debuff. If you guys have a weakaura for this please let me know thanks
I found a weakaura that works, however EVERYONE in the group needs to have this. I expect it to get nerfed/disabled by Blizzard once people really start using it but for now it functions wago.io/FZZ60sOo3

My UI is basically straight from twitch.tv/atrocity. However I plan to do like a monthly useful addons videos especially for addons that help with certain mechanics or quality of life - things you wouldn’t expect to exist but rly do.

I couldn't see the ghost as the healer but everyone else could. The warlock dispelled without any damage to the group.
Yea anyone “can” dispel, I just mentioned warlock, dwarf, kyrian cuz a lot of player have them either bound to commonly pressed buttons or on an automated cast like with Mikanikos. If that goes off and they don’t have the ghost it’ll blow everyone up
the kyrian auto phial killed so many lower kara runs I've been to - also the ghost thing is pretty much impossible to see if you have all your settings at low.
I keep my settings all low and spell density to essential, particle density to high and outline to high, projected textures on. This makes it so that you don't see most friendly spells that don't matter, however the ones you do see are clearly visible. Works well for me, but as with all settings, ymmv.
I was looking so closely for the one i needed to dispel and couldnt find it, after killing the boss they said it was on me the whole time!

i'm having issues with the dispell mechanic, my computer is kind of garbage so my video settings are scaled to "3" (low/mid graphics settings) and when the dispell mechanic hits, i cant see who should i dispell first. Is there a WA or addon or something i can do to improve this? thanks in advance
I'd make sure your spell effects is on Essential, Particle Density is High, and Outline Mode is High. These are the exact settings I had when making the video, and i had almost everything else on Low/Off.
Unfortunately as of right now the mechanic is purely visually determined. There's no available weakaura/addon to bypass that (yet)
It's also worth nothing that blizzard did push a hotfix on August 4th that says they "improved the visual clarity" of the mechanic so if you tried before then it may be worth a crack at it again fwiw.
My rig has a 3950x cpu and a 3090 Ti gpu and I play on a 50 inch 4K screen with all max settings and recorded doing that boss twice and you simply CANNOT see any ghost over anyone's head except your own if you are the one to dispel. I had to spam heal through it on both keys. Extremely annoying.
yea I think the problem is you having max settings, the ghost animation is very old. But most if not all classes/covenants have new spell effects that end up masking the old/buggy ghost animation. But idk, sometimes blizzard do be making bad game, i've just not had any issues myself in the ~13 or so Karazhan lowers ive ran

@@notSachy I dont think it's the max settings because it is clearly visible when on my toon, and there is nothing, not even a hint of anything over others when they have it.

nah the ghost is definetely not that big when its in the melee on a darwf
yea its very inconsistent, on my nightelf it was much larger than the tauren ghost

You cant see any ghost over anyone else's head and only your own if you are the one to dispel. I play on a large 4k screen with max settings and recorded the fight twice and the ghost only appeared over my own head when i was the one to dispel. I had to spam heal through that nonstop. My wrist muscles were literally screaming in pain from spamming nonstop heals. I am going to unsub when my game time is almost up. This dungeon is stupidly hard and makes the current content very annoying.
