Definitely not boring. I love watching all your content. Also love that you mentioned the whole not using copy written fabric thing. Honestly see it everywhere now and it’s scary how many people don’t look into things like this.

It's hard to find certain information out there it is hard so I do understand it, but it's just scary knowing that if someone from trading standards pops in, you're screwed! I'm constantly looking for info and learning new things all the time and I know there will be things I'm probably doing wrong too so it always a learning curve eh!

My husband is military as well, 10 years on the move and we finally settled 2years ago but totally get what you mean with the moving and balancing your work! Being self employed works so much better with that lifestyle.
This video was just what I needed as I need to tackle my office post christmas sale!

Yes the flexibility of being self employed is so much easier for things like that but then when the other side need stuff (the mortgage/loans sitch I mentioned) it's a nightmare 😂

On that Ikea desktop situation, you could use adjustable furniture legs (they have 3 sizes) that you can either drill or stick onto those metal drawers and put the desktop on that, could give you enough space to be able to see what is in those top drawers but also maybe some more storage space for papers and things, just an idea :D - Also love listening to you vlogs while working, love from Australia :D

my wristlet is on my back door key so it's easier to grab. also wristlets can be attached to your bag for a bit of bling :)

👂🏻Or🌽😁 Cheers from Canada. Watched, rather listened to every second while knitting. I'm a fairly new subscriber in her 50's trying to muster courage and energy to start a small business. Appreciate all the work that goes into editing and everything you need to do as a one woman show. Sounds like you get the same aura migraines I do. Hadn't had any for many months and then this past week 3 in a row over 2 days. Keep sipping water dehydration doesn't help.

How much floor space have you got, because if you have enough room you could put the black metal drawers lined up in front of your scrunchie wall (obviously enough walking space between this area), but have them facing the white shelving then utilise the Ikea bench top on top of the black shelves and put a table leg on each end facing the scrunchie wall and that can be your cutting bench. you can use your drawers for as normal and the other side will have room storing fabric bolts or those plastic containers. Then the 4 box shelving unit could be used for a packing station with those wooden shelving units in that L shaped corner. I would honestly have a field day re-organising your sewing space. I too have adhd and asd so having a "normal" job doesn't work for me. I work as a cleaner as well, it's the only job that satisfies the need to reorganise all the time.
I do it for my kids birthday party’s for the goody bags.

I bought a couple of things from you the other day (they came soooo quickly, thank you!!) which I'm going to do an unwrap in my next video. I know what you mean about buyers remorse, when my youngest become independent I felt it awfully when i'd buy anything that was deemed unnecessary but I soon got over it! lol Honestly though, give yourself some grace b/c as hard as times are, you deserve something nice and what you want too!!

How do you do your bookkeeping? Any advice.
@@tracyslayton8095 I can probably cover it better in a future video but I keep alllll my receipts and separate them into little wallets. I highlight the price and date on them. So for example I have a folder for paper invoices I get in things I've ordered and that came through the post. One for post office receipts, one for petrol receipts etc etc. I then every once in a while go through my online order history and keep track of what I've purchased / the cost. I do the same for income too. My aim is to do this each month so when it comes to filing my taxes it's already done and broken down for me! I'm not great at this and not crazily knowledgeable but I'm getting there!
It's just easy to chip away at it bit by bit and keep on top of it instead of it being an unorganized overwhelming mess after a while! 💕
