Hellblade 2 has stellar graphics, no denying that, but the game is short and my understanding is that there is less combat than hellblade 1. Another highly aniticipated game was scorn, which people thought would be really popular and a big title for xbox and it wasn't. I really hope that the perfect dark reboot or next pd is still in development, what are your thoughts on avowed, state of decay 3, fable and stalker 2? Do you think any of these games will be big enough to turn things around for xbox? And what happened to everwild? Is it no longer in development?
I honestly don't think hardware, or consoles, are the big aim for Xbox, and thus Microsoft, moving forward. I haven't felt that way for a few years. Avowed looked interesting, but in certain elements, it doesn't seem like a game for me. That doesn't mean objectively it won't be great though! State of Decay and Fable will be good for them, but again, I think mainly from a software perspective. From a macro game industry perspective, I don't think Xbox gaming is going anywhere, I just think their hardware focus will shift - whether they release more modular PC based consoles, or try to get game pass on as many devices globally, they're definitely going to see profits... I’ve been hyped for this showcase since the ABK deal closed on Oct. 13 last year. The only Xbox franchise that I haven’t gotten into is Halo but I love all of their other franchises. I’m excited for everything that they can do with their hardware as well. I’m most excited for Gears 6 though. Also excited to hear about COD going into Game Pass & the back catalog that will go into Game Pass. Also you did excellent talking about my favorite gaming platform.

I think you may have missed some potentials; South of Midnight? Everwild? Clockwork Revolution? Probably something Minecraft, Flight Simulator, and an RTS game. They usually cover all the bases

I think it’s funny that everyone is worried about Xbox, but these same concerns could be said for PlayStation this generation. Gaming in general is suffering.
No, no,no. I'm sick of hearing this argument. Xbox and MS are in a league of their own fucking things up. Don't sugercoat it. Sony or Nintendo aren't going third party anytime soon for example.
I might be able to say the same thing, in terms of 5 being an improvement over 4, if it wasn't for the addition of the open world. If they just kept the stages of 5 but had a basic mission select like all the previous games, I would have loved it.
Honestly, this isn't untrue. As the Xbox division has higher costs, Satya and the higher ups are going to naturally put a bigger hand into things. I just hope they stay committed to building the Xbox and gaming brand, vs cutting the rope altogether.

YES! Finally got brave enough to play From software games last year - LOVED Dark Souls Remastered and Dark Souls 3. Beat all the DLCs. What a time! Need to continue Elden Ring!

I find it funny that the first time I played Dark Souls I got stuck in Undead Burg for like 4 hours and quit playing the game for like a year, glad I went back and tried it again.

Doom is the only game I am exited for, I think all the others will probably be terrible.
