I set up all the settings like you said, i clean the speaker carefully, NOTHING! Now the only thing left to do on troubleshooting process is to clean my ears.
Hi Trevor, this is so useful demo by you. I was about to throw my iPhone as I was not able to hear incoming calls and for music, had to put ears to the bottom of the phone. Now your training has perfectly helped in resetting various sound settings and I am now able to hear loud sounds both from speakers and headphones. Also, I use hearing aids. I adjusted my hearing aid to T-coil mode and the sound from the phone was crystal clear with no background noise. I was really struggling to hear audio from this old iPhone 7 plus, but now I am quite happy to retain and not sell out. Thanks a lot.

In my case it even lowers the volume on my earbuds for a moment I thought it was them, but then I disconnected them and the phone barely made a sound. I got this phone brand new a week ago (iPhone 15)

For those who come here for the Apple 12. Apple has acknowledged this issue and launched a repair program, you might be eligible for a free repair. When my father asked me to take a look at it since Trevor settings were the same as my father, all I did was the old turn it off turn it back on. It worked for me for right now

This is an intentional defect by Apple when the phones become reaches a certain age. I’ve noticed it with my 10, 11 and 12. The audio volume decreases over time even though you have it cranked all the way up. They do this to lure you into buying a new phone each year. No video floating on RUclips will help with the volume issues.
I dont use Iphone anymore.... Its unfriendly and expensive... Some of the chinese android phones are much cheaper and with almost the same quality and much more friendly

Just like if I’m on my Lock Screen & I swipe down it mutes it from the highest volume to like 5% like bruh…. Then it doesn’t fix to go back to the 10% type for days. 😂 Even if I restart my phone. Maybe it is hardware? 🤷♂️ But, if so -why’s it turn down when I swipe down on Lock Screen? 🤷♂️
