7th thumbs up brother definitely a beautiful RLC custom enjoyed watching it and thanks for sharing it with us this hearse is 🔥🔥🔥 brother and have a wonderful weekend brother 👍😎👊💯🔥
Outstanding job, Jim. I agree that the large Dead Sled logo best stands alone. The smaller ones you tried and removed would have taken away from that. Very cool looking transformation. Big thumbs up from Switzerland! 🍁👍
Thank you so much Andrew! It was a fun build that came to mind when I was doing the pink Candy Striper version of the casting. One of those rare times you can throw curtains on a little car build and people don't laugh LOL
As I mentioned before in other place, I really like this one Jim. The curtains were a genius touch! It helps that's this is one of my favorite castings!
Awesome! Their logo really is pretty damn cool. I think the other decals would've looked okay also, but I understand how you felt. Either way it looks 100 times better. Well done sir.
WOW the combo of the body style and logo. . . .FANTASTIC! ! ! Great MOD! ! ! ! it would have been cool if you could have made the rule lines in the "logo" red. . . . to tie the red on the tires up! VERY COOL!
This is the casting that will continue to elude me. I don't spend gobs of money on RLC castings. Lol. But she is a beaut. My fave Blown Delivery was the spectraflame red with gold pinstriping. Reminded me of a hot rod fire truck. On the 10 exhaust pipes. Sure. Why not. The wildest car ever to hit the streets ready to breath fire was the Dodge Viper. It was famous for having the former Dodge Truck V10 naturally aspirated engine. No one could ever argue with its factory spec numbers. So...maybe it's an old Dodge with the MOPAR version of an LS swap....
Thanks Don! If you keep an eye out on eBay, particularly "newly listed" with "buy it now" or "best offer" available, you can sometimes find a decent price on them (like I did for this one and another) -- you have to be patient and vigilant lol. There are some insane prices being asked. That red one with the gold pinstriping is really fantastic.
Thanks Jamie! The white curtains were intentional because I wanted the folds of the fabric to be as visible as possible...and yet subtle in a way. It took a little work (as in several printouts lol) to get the shading I wanted, and I think adding color to the curtains would have lost that feel...maybe not.
Thanks Cat! It's an interesting casting - it seems like it has a lot of possibilities. When it comes to the base, I knew better than to mess with it because, like the old saying goes, "a man must know his limitations" lol
Nice I repainted my RLC blown delivery I just didn’t like the pink lol recarded on a custom card after repaint and now I’m a happy camper lol Jim can you tell me what printer and toner brand you recommend. I have a HP Laser and there is white toner carts available but not sure which one to buy. Trying to get away from doing my water slides on my inkjet
Thanks Rodney! I didn't like the plain pink casting either - I hit that one with some Candy Striper decals and it helped a lot lol. About the decal setup - I use a refurb HP M254dw color laserjet. When I went to get white toner, I about fell out of my chair and did some research - I found a place called TonerStop out of Australia that could send a white toner cartridge, including shipping, for about half the price of the "usual" brand...and that's what I'm using. One thing to check out - they also have white toner for several other printers as well as selling white toner bottles so you can do your own refills. While the white toner decal process isn't ideal on the HP, usually requiring two layers - one white, one with color - laser printed decals as SO much easier because they don't require a clear coat before using them (because it's toner and not ink, it doesn't bleed).
Man it Turned out werry cool 💀 There is a thing about hearses, that makes em cool, either way they are. But the ones that are turned into race cars or show cars makes me want one ewen more
Thanks Bruce! It's funny you mention doing black wash on the engine -- for some reason, the engine on this casting doesn't bother me much so I passed on it...by comparison, and on a somewhat similar casting (? well, it's an exposed engine RLC casting lol), I added nuln oil to the engine on the custom Hi-Po Hauler I just finished because the engine drove me crazy. I never did get the exhaust on that looking the way I wanted so I ended up removing the wash...but the engine looks 100% better in my opinion (video should be out this coming Friday/Saturday).
crazy idea, looking crazy good. looks like they're up for a fast deliverance... XD just curious, what do you think is the base model? can't decide if the grille is chevy or ford...
@@JimSilva-SilvaDiecastCustoms the grille seems to hint at 36 Ford, but I'm not sure... maybe it was just one of the designers going creative. with some castings I sometimes wonder how illegal the substances are they are imbibing... XD
Outstanding work, Jim! We love it to death!
Thank you SO much! You provided a great inspiration!
Nice build, details and paint job 👍👍

Love the Blown Deliveries. This is definitely an improvement on the original. I must own a dozen varieties. Enjoy everyone of them.
They really are a fun casting! Thanks for watching!
Very nice, I really like that casting. And using the dead sled logo was spot on. Could be the new Munsters mobile. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! It really could be the new Musters mobile. I have one casting left on hand to play with...and a few ideas of what to do.

Sweet looking hearse Jim, I'm with you on the paint scheme. Looks great now!
Thanks Ron! That original paint scheme didn't do anything to help this casting lol
love the transformation Jim, the curtains are a great addition for sure. Thanks for sharing !!

I love everything about this, but I wish you would have done a color version of the curtains, say, in a red or whatever. Looks badass still.

Great job 👍

Them curtains ♥️
Excellent work. Looks like something Mattel could do, but we know Mattel...they'd just change it since it looks too good.
Thanks so much Kris! Those darn curtains are my favorite part of the build.
