Mario is so good in Smash 4, no weaknesses, easy to learn, having the lowest learning curve in the game, good throw combos, and good combo potential is what making him high tier so far :D
Cheddar he doesnt loses to many characters he has one of the best matchup spreads in the game he loses to rosalina and kinda zss but the matchup seems even
I don't see how people say this is a even matchup between these two characters. Fox can't really up-tilt Mario because of his fast nairs coming down. He also can't really up-air Mario because of that. As a Fox main, Fox losses this matchup. No question. :/
+Joseph Franc Mario wins the match up, a lot of top players agree. Although it's close here's why Mario wins. Mario's combo game on fox (because he is a fast-faller) that comes off of one grab or most of Mario's aerials makes for a lot of quick damage. Fox does however win the neutral because of his speed and lasers to force Mario to approach him as well as to rack up safe damage. Fox winning the neutral does make it hard for Mario players to get these grabs as it is their main source of percent output. (Mario can also edge guard fox hard, as can most of the cast). This is just to name a few things, obviously the game gets much more into depth than basic rock/paper/scissor situations.
+Niitro Btw, just read their nairs. Most people who main characters with good combo breakers have a bad habit of nairing (or attempting to) out of everything. Just up tilt, sheild, punish, rinse and repeat until they're at upair percent.
Why is it so hard for all you to believe that he is better than Anti? I don't know if you all know this, but there are people who play Smash, and don't go to tournaments. I'm not saying that he is better, since I have no way of knowing, but don't receive his comment so negatively.
