As a grandmother of adult grandchildren, I prefer to receive gift cards - a favorite restaurant, grocery store, a generic Visa or MasterCard (my preference), or, if the grandparent is tech savvy, an Amazon card. My favorite is receiving the gift card enclosed with a current family photo (perhaps the first year in a nice 5x7 frame that can sit on a table or hang on the wall, then a photo to fit the frame in the following years). Just a few ‘grandmotherly’ thoughts. 😀🎄💗
Omg. Story time. So my hubby and I wrapped the gifts. I was on present alert and was going to sleep on the couch to listen for my daughters feet and my hubby goes no I got it. So he slept on the couch right. My daughter came out at 5 in the morning and opened. Every. Single. Gift. And I woke up from my room because I heard her and I woke my husband up and hes like omg 😂😂😂😂😂

I enjoy How the Grinch Stole Christmas, It’s a Wonderful Life, Elf, The Spirit of Christmas, Love Actually and even some of those “I’m not sure this is really a Christmas movie” type movies like The Holiday, and Last Holiday (Queen Latifa). I find my Grandma incredibly hard to shop for. She’s 92 - she needs nothing. This year I bought a nice throw blanket. She probably won’t use it. 😂 Congrats on being contacted by the Ellen Show! My parents would do one wrapping paper for each of us and also would put a number on the tag so they know what gift was what before we would open it. My mom would always look at the last and pick which number to open first

My parents used to put our gifts into boxes and write numbers on the outside. Then, we all got around the dining room table and wrapped gifts, writing the numbers on the gift tags. Then, on Christmas morning, they told us our number. 😂. Yeah, we were so formal. I like listening to you talk rather than music playing.

We never had any game consoles growing up. So the year the WII came out we got one! I was so excited, but before I got my turn I came down the stairs and skidded a step before I got to the floor. So I ended up getting a surprise ER visit and crutches to go with my WII. It also snowed that year and I couldn’t enjoy it because of my injury 😑 That was a great Christmas
I am gift wrapping right along with you! We don't use different paper for each child, but we do use different paper for the "from Santa" gifts and keep it hidden from our 2 kids the rest of the year. Love your channel so much! Very inspiring for me for organizing, cleaning and cooking!

We normally have a huge garbage bag to throw the wrapping paper in as we open them. So there isnt a mess or anything.

as a high schooler i can say that home alone is watched by almost everyone. we love to watch disney plus during class and home alone is a favorite now that christmas is coming!
i tackle easy to wrap gifts first and more difficult or big ones for last i hate them. I also watch a movie grab a glass of wine and wrap when the kids sleep

I like to wait until my girls go to bed and wrap the gifts as they come in the mail or as they are bought. It makes it easier. Also I watch a Christmas movie while wrapping. ❤️ love your wrap with me vids. You make my day 😊
I have 24 nieces and nephews with just my family. We don’t buy for everyone last year we did a name draw for all the kids.
Hehe one time I wrapped all our gifts with painters tape I found in the garage 😁 NO SHAME! 🎁

We never had any game consoles growing up. So the year the WII came out we got one! I was so excited, but before I got my turn I came down the stairs and skidded a step before I got to the floor. So I ended up getting a surprise ER visit and crutches to go with my WII. It also snowed that year and I couldn’t enjoy it because of my injury 😑

I am gift wrapping right along with you! We don't use different paper for each child, but we do use different paper for the "from Santa" gifts and keep it hidden from our 2 kids the rest of the year. Love your channel so much! Very inspiring for me for organizing, cleaning and cooking!

I wrapped my gifts last nite but I don’t put them under the tree till Xmas eve so when my grandkids wake up surprise “Santa visited last nite while u slept”. Their only 10 n 6 yrs n they still believe 🎅🏼🎄I love watching them so going to go c Star Wars now 🎅🏼💕 enjoyed watching ur videos 😊😊
