On the first chorus I thought this was a ok song and my least favourite of the selection so far but by the end I changed it to my 2nd place and was head bobbing to this song.

Back in 2003 when "In the shadows" was released, I was 12 years old. It was my first fav song ever, so until today it has a special place in my heart. I had posters of them in my room back then, and their songs are in all my playlists since school years. I think when I first read the article about Pauli leaving the band my feelings were totally about lost and confusion. I don't think was the only one person who thought nothing will be the same, my stage of denial was in full rage. Then this past days I've been seeing the interviews, Instagram histories shared by the members of the band and finally this wonderful surprise (yes, for me was ) about the contest , the video , the song "Jezebel" and all I can see is "Joy" everyone looks so happy. ‘Emppu’ have an amazing energy that is very visible , and very transmissible, in my eyes is like the she brought rejuvenation to all. @The Rasmus have all my support . Thank you guys for all the joy you bring to us, your fans . We all are in this together , now lets go for the win !
When I was a 13 year old teen girl, I stayed up a bit later on a Sunday night before school so I could hear Lauri's interview on a local radio station. Rasmus was on tour back then and they stopped in my city. Just turned 30 this year and this band gives me the same feeling in my tummy like back then! It is great to see them both evolved and not "sold out" in the name of fame. I hope we see ESC Finland 2023! 💛🖤💛🖤💛
The Rasmus changed a lot during that time. The band's original guitarist, Pauli Rantasalmi, retired from the band at the end of 2021. Emilia Suhonen joined the band in early January 2022.

Growers are great, but in Eurovision, a song kind of *needs* to instantly grab you... They need to amp up the live performance somehow! ;)

I fucking love this - was a massive Rasmus fan as a child and glad they went for an upbeat catchy track with lots of level changes and epic guitar riffs. They should perform really well and finish top 10.

It's definitely a song you'd expect from The Rasmus. People saying there isn't enough energy or whatever are obviously comparing it to Blind Channel... This is more like pure rock and there's nothing wrong in that! This can do well too in it's own style and way

Ngl the chorus just sticks with me. At my first listen I went like "Ok, this isn't as good as I expected, but I still like it." Meanwhile, the hook just sat there in my head after only one listen. This song is a banger lol. The anthemic chorus slaps so hard.
