I started playing a couple months back. I too thought the combat was easy. I played coz i enjoyed the stories. Until i started vet dungeons and trials that is.
Trying different builds. Experimenting with different great to min max my dps is quite fun.
The stories are great. Literally could just play the story lines and enjoy the game.
Housing is fun. Very expensive. But fun.
Great customisation options for outfits and i can spend hours trying to make my character look cool and unique.
The skill morphs mean that most people are not carbon copies of everyone else. It's fun trying different combos.
The ridiculously limited inventory space if you're not an eso plus member is a huge pain. A lot of my time goes in inventory management.
A lot of things are tied to eso plus so if you're not a subscriber some zones and even vital gear and inventory space is locked to you.
Overall i can recommend it. But don't expect a Skyrim like experience. It is an mmo at the end of the day.

I love hearing the difficulty goes up in vet dungeons and trials! So nice having ways to challenge yourself in a game. Totally agree with the stories: I liked every main quest line and many of the side quests!
For the skill skill morphs, can you reset them? I never got to a point I needed to, but your comment made me think it would be a nice feature.
I don't mind ESO+ being a big benefit at higher levels - gotta pay the developers somehow. I kinda think of it as ESO having a crazy big free trial.
Thanks for the well thought out comment and have a great day!

Overland has no difficulty at all, it is just story mode. In dungeons, arena and trials it is much more difficult and you will constantly die in the beginning . When you finished content on normal and proceed to veteran it is even more challenging. And please, don´t play in first person mode or you will not see many mechanics. To give you a perspective: to complete Hardmode trials even the most experienced players are usually progging for weeks to get their first clear. PvP is also very challenging if you are not just zerging. Check out the various videos about perfecting your skill rotation to maximise your damage and build. Charles is usually a reliable source for min-maxing DPS.

Thanks for all the information! I love that they keep the story approachable for new players, but have a bunch of things that take a long time to "git good" with! I'm a little sad playing in first person is detrimental, but totally makes sense - There's a reason most MMO RPGs are third person. Have a great day!

Thanks you for the video! I liked the way you commented on the game. A small piece of feedback, I would love some more structure in the video.
    Keep up the good work!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! For structure, I've been toying with the idea of an outline at the start of my videos. I'll definitely keep up the good work!

ESO is still awesome in 2024! I was a hard core player back in the days on console. Recently I bought it for my PC, wow! graphic engine is old, but the graphics on 4k are still good enough, the game play in general was improved and there's so much more stuff to explore. This game can be nice for pve players, countless hours of gaming, plus if you feel like playing pvp, you can have that as well. It takes a lot of time to re-learn to build characters with the right build for what you want and also, level up skills and get the proper loot you need your your build. It is a nice game if you like the lore of Elder Scrolls. Skyrim is a classic! amazing game, if you have it on PC you can install amazing mods using Nexus that will make this game on-par with many modern games! Either one, prepare to spend 100-400 hours of gaming.

I love the thorough comment! ESO definitely impressed me - it will likely be one of my go to MMO RPG's when I'm in the mood! Have a good one!

Having played both recently - Skyrim was a much more immersive experience, but ESO has the benefit of getting to work with other players. ESO will likely provide more official content, but Skyrim has the advantage of having tons of mods. Both games will have a huge amount of content! I hope you have fun with it!

I still enjoy ESO but there's times I need to log off because of AFKers spoiling the Immersion while on the Server.

A good few times I walked up to people and tried to talk with them thinking they were NPCs! Totally agree - plenty to enjoy!
