I just bought the Echo 2620 and love it so far! It has a little more vibration than my 225 but not bad at all! Sweet Trimmers!! 👍🤛

I love my 2620 been mowing 15 years and by far my favorite other than the shindawa 262. There is a mod you can do put a carriage bolt in the head of the speed feed supposedmake it last longer. I really like the speed feed head and im able to get one to two seasons out of a head using it several hours a week. Awesome video thanks for the information. Love the fuel tank to im able to get 9 acre size yards on one fill up.

The SpeedFeed head is perfect - if it's scalping - user error...if it's new and the bump cap is wore out - user error...the guard keeps the line the proper length, protects user and bystanders/property it's a great machine...hope it's still serving you well

Speed feed are great, but you are right about the head , the guard can be changed to universal

Yes, the 396f one is a commercial head. They are made in Italy and have to be ordered online. I actually go to the GIE expo every year in Louisville Kentucky and buy enough to last a year or two. The owners go there every year and have a booth there. Great people and the best trimmer heads ever!

I planned to buy the 2620 or 2620T... I ended up buying the 3020. They're all good trimmers.

I have the same machine but in a shindiawa version. Love it! Very light weight and easy to handle. It isn't as powerful as my Stihl 130 but I prefer this machine over the Stihl. I have an old Echo 2100 SB for the past 17 years and it still runs like brand new. Love Echo Trimmers. Stihl makes a better blower IMO, but echo trimmers are amazing.

Sppedfeed 450 heads are great man, I have them on my Stihl trimmers as well but the speedfeed 400 head i don't know since it's smaller than the 450. I believe Rotary makes them. I hate having to pry the cap off every time I need to refill the trimmer line so speedfeed heads are good to me. Only difference in the 2620t and 2620 is a $30-$40 difference for the T since it has 2 to 1 gear reduction for extra torque.
