And to be fair the only reason that whole Pinstripe business came about in the first place was because of some behind the scenes shenanigans involving an uppity Universal marketing director and Sony executives not liking Tawna's initial design. The whole experience was just so unpleasant that Naughty Dog dropped Tawna from the games and replaced her with Coco. However, Jason Rubin has actually tweeted on this matter before, expressing his regret for not retaining her in the series. Stating both Coco and Tawna should have appeared in game 2 onwards. :)

After being held hostage for so long, what a better way to feel she'd regained her freedom, right? And CTR NF does technically take place after Crash 4. Remember Crash 4 begins with our heroes in 1998, immediately after Warped, where as CTR NF happens in 1999. So, they'll definitely meet back up again! And considering she still had Crash's face on her shirt in CTR NF along with Crash having that photo of her above his fireplace, I think they think of each other often! ;)

Naughty Dog wanted Tawna to look very very very HOT, but Universal said NO, so her CB1 look wasn´t as hot as it was supposed to be...Anyway she latest appeared in Crash Boom Bang and the reason why she left Crash is Pinstripe. Also she can be seen in Twinsanity on "Moulin Cortex", but her scene with Dingodile was cut...She has a cameo in MInd Over Mutant:)

They should make a Crash game in which Tawna returns as a boss character that Crash has to fight, but then immediately turns good again after the fight and joins the bandicoots. And then at the end of the game, she leaves Pinstripe for Crash. Muahahahahah!

As far as I know, she appears as a PLAYABLE character in Crash Boom Bang for Nintendo DS. Unfortunately, such game is said to be good only at being bad. Oh well, we can hope for the future, but better yet, send letters/e-mails to the current Crash owners, asking for more appearances of Tawna. Other "kiddy/family-oriented" game series have no problems in featuring femme fatales (Candy Kong, Rouge the Bat, Carmelita Fox). Why the Crash series should be censored?

But Crash was marketed as a family game and they didn't want to risk other families complaining about Crash having a character like Tawna with their design in that game "corrupting" their kids minds with something not age-appropriate. They were also asked to redesign her but ND refused so she was replaced by Coco (which I'm not complaining). I mean only the most immature families would complain about this IMO.

I did some research a while back. It turns out the publishers of the game feared Tawna Bandicoot was giving a "sexual" orientation to little kids---which is redicules! I mean yeah, she was wearing short shorts & a mid-dress, but so was Launch from Dragonball. Sadly, Tawna was replaced with Coco instead.

I usually dislike hearing sound effects in music recordings like that, but in this case, I couldn't do without the soft sound the exit portal makes!
