My wife was on a ventilator in October into November 2020. It was 28 days, she had good days and bad days. She fought until the bitter end on November 16 2020 she couldn’t fight anymore. Now I am here over two years later and our two children bring me peace, comfort, and understanding.
my dad was sedated sep13th and on oct 4th he couldnt fight it anymore. the thought of him being alone not knowing what will happen next and knowing that he was awake 2 times to try to fight it off but went back into intubation haunts me so much. im sorry for your wife and i know both your wife and my dad are in a better place and can rest in peace.
Blessings for your family brother. Lost my cousin 6 days ago while she was on the ventilator fighting of ARDS. Just 12 and a half years old taken too soon from us. Losing her has devestated her family and mine but I am relieved knowing her suffering is finally over.
your children are so lucky to have a father like you. i was on a ventilator for 4 days. the hardest thing was that tube coming out my throat. i don’t know why, but i hope you find comfort in knowing i’m here today. God is good. im hoping you’re well and your children are well too! God bless you and your family!
I suffered cardiac arrest, I'm thankful to have woken up from coma, coming off the ventilator machine. My memory got damaged I had to relearn how to walk and do things. Still here and in it. I'm full of gratitude and will relearn new things!
My husband is on the ventilator with pneumonia for 4weeks now, they removed him for 4hrs and he started vomiting aggressively and is back on it. Please lets pray for God's intervention to all the people in ventilators.
I have nice stories to tell. I ended up in the hospital because neumonia. october 25 of 2021. The doctors just gave me 13% of chances to survive. After 2 years i am here. I saw many things. ... strange things. It was really hard and was so easy to give up, because you couldnt feel pain or sickness anymore. But there is always a good reason to comeback.
I was on a ventilator as a baby for tricuspid atresia (2001-03) thank god I can’t remember it very well….all I remember is what mom has told me. I was ages 4 months-6months and then off and on for various other surgeries through my childhood its caused alot of problems within social skills, learning disability, and other mental and physical health problems unrelated to the original condition that caused ventilation in the first place. The final time I was 11 in 2012……I really hope that I don’t get into a ventilator again but with chronic heart disease who knows
My sister been on ventilator since December 2022 from brain stem h something stroke & in spite of Doctors saying, praying she wakes and make a full recovery.
Woah crazy similar story to me. I’m 22 and last Friday ember I got pneumonia and I got out early February and I still have problems talking and swallowing
I stood by as someone I loved gasped for air. She said she should not have listened to her brother who said to not get the vaccine. She had previously said no machines to me but when asked at that moment, she nodded yes. Hoping that she could recover? Or just wanting to stop suffocating? We told her we loved her. They sedated and intubated. Her lungs got worse and worse and other organs were failing. 11 days later we made the decision to pull the ventilator and watch her pass peacefully. I am a doctor. I was her doctor. I had offered the vaccine. She declined. I did not want to be right. I did not want to watch her die.
😢 the good bye I had to give my mom was on a ventilator. We had no clue she’d be on a ventilator, let alone gone at 59. Not Covid related. 💔 I feel like I didn’t say enough because I didn’t know it was goodbye.
@@GripengamerI was passed out the whole time. After you wake up and get off it your chest hurts like a bruise every breath and your throat is more raw than ever. I still have to breathe out of my mouth about half the time and can’t take a deep breath a year later. Complete respiratory failure for 3 days. 0/10
@@Abby-Abby😢 Lord and my sister didn’t want to be on ventilator if situation ever arises. She’s a nurse and in a coma for eight months. That sounds discomforting.
My brother was as well. I pray your brother makes a full recovery. I’m here at 4am searching this just wondering what my brother went through. I pray he felt no pain. miss him dearly 😢❤️🩹

I can testify to all this very true and scary, I went into to this when I was 27 years old and after this whole ordeal I never went back to whom I was
Me 💯..I feel.like the person I was no longer exists
