Don't know if they talk about it, but one thing I'd like to remind everyone: Amorim said that last season he had an injury that didn't fully recover for basically the whole season! During the summer he did the surgery and fixed it for good. Last season he was holding back!
As a Benfica and Portugal fan, I genuinely don't remember the last player I've seen that has struck so much fear in me as playing against Gyokeres. Get this monster out of my league
Gyökeres has brought more eyeballs onto the league and that makes the league more interesting and better. The more competitive the league is, the better it is for all teams. Everyone has to improve and that's a good thing. Think big ,my friend.
@@jack1906 would u say the league right now is more competitive than it has been in previous seasons? also how will sporting cope with amorin leaving? those are big shoes to fill!
@@rollsreus3862 I think it is competitive but mostly that Sporting,Porto, Benfica, Braga and Vitoria all have good teams. Lots of other teams, just park the bus when they play the bigger teams and there are a couple of weak teams too. But nearly all can play good football and the matches are always enjoyable. If you look at most leagues across Europe, there are 5 or 6 better teams and then the rest. Replacing Amorim will of course be difficult, we'll just have to wait and see. The team is still really good.
Yes, I've followed Viktor since he was 15. I remember that he was a huge talent already at that age. I'm a Man Utd fan and I begged that Man Utd would sign him when he was in Coventry. Wrote several times in the comment section of man utd and Gyökeres videos. He is the closest to Haaland there is but instead Man Utd signed Höjlund. :S In my opinion he is better than Alex Isak, maybe not running with the ball but inside the box he is twice as good.

My Portuguese friends are saying this guy is something special-not like past flops like Nunez or Felix. They’re even calling him the best player in the Portuguese league since Figo. Not sure if the big dogs like Barca or Madrid will take interest, but Barca needs a Lewandowski replacement, and Madrid is still missing a true 9. @@dannyadams2211 That has got to be the worst ball knowledge of this year. I remember Lo Celso was also better than Bruno Fernandes at the time. I wonder how that went.
I don't agree. Having watched him every week for the past two years, he's scores a lot of important goals in big matches. The two away against Porto in the last few minutes last season to draw that huge game and he's scored in most of the biggest matches over the past 2 years. None of those were penalties.
I guess 17 goals + 8 assists in 21 games is not good enough. Premier League teams have a history of signing players for 100 Million who have that amount of G/A in a whole season, let alone in 21 games. 25 G/A WITHOUT pens, btw. With pens, 35 G/A in 1818' minutes. I think people have to actually watch some games instead of creating lazy opinions without any knowledge whatsoever.
But agree with the sentiment. There's no room for a new number 9 at City, Liverpool, Chelsea, United AND Tottenham. Arsenal need to replace Jesus. Even he can't save them anymore

@RuthlessMetalYT Isn't a little too old for a big club to spend €70m on him?
The question should be: Is prem ready for Gyokeres?
That first goal was up against Simpson-Pusey who looks slow and heavy legged, plus inexperienced.
