A sombre Prime Minister Narendra Modi met an equally stoic Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv during his brief but historic visit to Ukraine on Friday. The two leaders shook hands before PM Modi engulfed the Ukrainian President in a hug. As the duo toured the war-torn country's Martyrologist Exposition, the Indian leader's hand remained firmly on Zelenskyy's shoulder -- a symbolic gesture of India's solidarity with Ukraine.
PM Modi is the first ever Indian Prime Minister to visit Ukraine since it got independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.PM Modi arrived around 7:30 am (local time to Kyiv) and came to the hotel around 7:55 am (local time). The Prime Minister was welcomed with the chants of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ by the Indian diaspora after his arrival in Kyiv. The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet President Zelenskyy soon.

Modi’s visit should usher in permanent solution to Russia-Ukraine war. Putin may have to rethink again in the interest of humanity to stop this war and let PEACE come to Ukraine.
Putin is ready for peace but Ukrainian want to negotiate on their term which is not possible for Russia. If Russia is to give up the land they conquered back to sq 1,then all that killing, money , millions of refugee, sanctions, affected commercial interest,all this would mean nothing.

Hindi is understood by majority of the country except people of Tamil who somehow can learn English but feel ashamed to speak Hindi derived from Sanskrit.... you don't impose your choice everywhere.. if you don't understand go watch english channel

You may notice that people from every corner is either conversing or making an effort for unified acceptance, example is north-east. Their scripts are quite foreign to Hindi. However for Tamil and many other liguistics natives will have the problem, so let's accept this fact and try to get a common ground. English is good option.

Modi's Ukraine visit is a non starter for the peace given the time when Ukraine, for the first time, is on the offence and making advances inside Russia. Also this is happening on the back of PM's visit to Russia. Surely not something that Putin desired from India.
No leadership from any other country would have chosen such a time to launch peace initiative. India is certainly not bad at choosing the opportunity. Govt has been exalting about how India was able to maneuver the crisis in a conflict and even profiting out of it. Cheap Russian crude, Rouble - Rupee trade etc.
Modi Panchayat is well received. Visit is a success if optics alone is the objective and not the meaningful outcome.
