The REAL, Fastest Dough Cutter at Little Caesars's Pizza

  • This is me cutting dough at work. I have been wondering if this is record though. And for those of you who are asking if the dough balls are accurate weight, ask the 4 people that were there, and if you look at the video, you will see me correcting the dough balls as I go. We estimate that if I hadn't made those few mistakes, I could have done it 60 sec. or less. Maybe I'll try again, to break this record.

      He is the fastest cutter but at my location we roll by hand and that is what takes so long

    I just want to say, I mean no disrespect to anyone with this video. My time at Little Caesar's was some of the best times in my life. I became great friends with everyone that worked with me. I'm proud of my acheivement in this video. It's not much to other people but it's cool to me lol. This just proves the quality of training at Little Caesar's to me. They make it easy for anyone to pick up so the job market for them is wide open to everyone. The only reason I posted this was because someone else's popped up on my facebook page I decided to show mine because I know I'm faster lol. This video is over 4 years old, it say on my page that long only visible to me. I'm proud of it, and I think they should be proud of their training program and how they prepare their team members and managers.

      michael montford hey I ain't hating that was really fast. but....how fast can you cut bread. So far my time of 2:28 cut on a full batch of bread is unbeaten

      I know your comment is a year old, but, so? Pretty much everyone who works with dough don't use gloves. Eat doughnuts? Each and every one of those were touched by the bakers bare hands. Cake? Same. Fresh bread? Same. Same with pizza, no glove, more love.

    i hate when one batch is perfect, get cocky then the next is like tar. o.o then the next is the holy grail followed by grainy mud. im like wtf? i followed the instructions. oh wait.... its qts not lts O.O hehe ^_^

    we dont have that ball rolling machine so it takes me a long time to finish 3 bags doing it by myself it gives me a good forearm workout though

    Damn, I'm the Co Manager at Little Caesers, and I thought I was one of the fastest dough cutters. I can only cut a batch of large round and have one second left on the VCM . (A min. and 29 sec.)

    Lucy R. -- Yea, but the point was not the dough rolling, it was the cutting. I like rolling dough balls by hand, more personal, but just to keep things uniformed, it's best to use the dough roller. They also have an automatic saucer as well. Just set the pizza in it and push the button. It grabs it, sauces it, then releases it.

    I just got a job at little ceasars and I've been struggling with cutting the dough but I'm going to try it your way and hopefully I can shave off a lot of my wasted time.

      One thing that helps a lot, get to know the little cuts: one ounce, two ounce. This way, you're looking at only two cuts everytime, if the first cut isn't right on. And then just be positioned so that you can toss/drop it in with minimal space between the scale and the dough rounder, cause when you're talking faster than the VCM, every little thing matters to get and keep that time down.

    That's not fair, you have a dough roller! Do it by rolling the dough balls in your hands like the stores around my area and it'd be impressive.

    Would love to see them do this now. Idk about y’all but in my area we gotta put a paper on the tray and oil it then apply another sheet on top. We don’t have space for a rounder://

    We didnt have the rolling machine at my store. We had to roll the dough ourselves, my forearms have never been as sore as they were when i worked there haha

    pretty good but that's a one person job right there. I get a whole tray in the rounder and cut 3 more before anything even comes out.

    funny thing is I work at a Papa Murphy's and with our dough cutting it has to be put into a "tote" and then oiled to make sure it doesn't get too dry. I was wondering if you had any tips on speed? I am the fastest dough cutter at my work but I really want to improve. thanks

      TheSwarles 2334 just get the feel of the dough ball and once you can feel the weight it's easy. Cutting in strips like I did made it easier as well. Cutting those strips actually helps because you can see sections. Once you can get that visual, then it's just about learning where to cut. It's been quite a few years ago but that's how I did it lol.

      +Scary Scarf You know, there are a lot of things I could say about why I'm not wearing one, but truth is, I should've been! I was challenged so I jumped in and did it lol. Someone else was actually doing dough that day lol. But you are right, you got me, no excuse why I'm not wearing one lol.

      The machine they showed you does it lol. It just spins flower and water and dough mix until it forms dough

      Bag of dough mix, 7.5 cups of water, mix for 90 seconds let sit for 3 minutes whisk again. Dump in the mixer with 16 or 18oz vegetable oil then dump in 25lb bag of flour and hit the button and poof 90 seconds.

    There is a lot of dough there that is too heavy.. scale isn’t supposed to hit bottom and looks 3-4 ounces over.

    Only thing you had help with the dough laying on the tray 3 4 3. But not bad can you bet mine, full rack in 30mins break sweet head strart on three buckets and cut n lay on tray on rack. Still gice you credit for fast cuttinhg you got that down-no-sweet.

    Our rounder sometimes combines two or more dough ball. Any idea why that is?

      +Richie Cozier the plastic thing on the bottom of the rounder sometimes don't move with the bottom metal thing. it does it most often when it hasn't been cleaned properly. also on smalls and deep dish

    Thank god he beats my fastest time. I'd hate to get that good at a shitty job. About to start a new job that pays twice as much as Little Caesars in my state. I'm so glad i left, my shop sucked, I'd get yelled at for not being fast enough. My boss was an idiot, he said he loved his job so much that it wasnt about the money....sure, cuz he'd totally work for free. He would say shit like "I'm having fun right now" while we got attacked by hordes of customers. Good for him if he wants to make it into the "hall of lame" but I'll pass on that.

      WeMadeIt I feel like the idiots at my little caesars should've. My coworkers would never wash their hands. They were gross. After taking out garbage and using the restroom my coworkers wouldnt wash their hands. My little Caesars pizza shop didnt practice or perform very well with food safety regulations.
